Works well, but failed after first use. *Edit* Seller replaced!
*Update* Seller contacted me through Amazon and quickly sent a replacement light. Replacement light works great with no issues. These UV flashlights really do put out plenty of light and certainly enough to track down an AC leak (using UV Dye, of course). Good inexpensive DIY alternative... Just an FYI - Take the batteries out of the unit when storing as AA have a tendency to leak. Good hunting! This unit puts out a good amount UV light, particularly if you use it in dim to dark light, but right after the first use, it stopped working. I replaced the batteries. No good. Took the thing apart and cleaned all contacts. No good. Made sure all batteries (3x AA) were correctly oriented and the battery cassette was in the correct way. Nope, unit was dead. Too late to return so I threw it in the trash.

Feels like a quality light.
Feels like very nice quality and lights up nicely. The battery compartment has an insert that 3 AA batteries can be used. I put some rechargeable batteries in and it works nicely. I bought this to look for R134A leak with UV Dye in system.

Light works well with UV dye. I didn’t use the glasses you can see the dye with the flashlight just fine.

Helped find my leak!
After putting dye into my pickup ac, I was able to easily find my leak with these. Worth every penny.

Awesome blacklight
I ordered this blacklight to replace my old one. This light is bright enough and it has a nice durable housing. Overall great quality product and at a great price.

Not very bright
I expected it to be brighter. Lens head is to large to get in tight places To check ac leaks. Wish I had gotten a smaller one that you can focus the beam And one that was rechargeable. Seems to be of Good quality. Seems to be good quality

Looks pretty good. Found the leak for sure in a coil.

Works really well. Arrived as expected. Do yourself a favour and eliminate as much light as you can for the best result of tracing the leaks. PRO TIP for DIY'ers: DO NOT wash the engine bay to then use the Dye. You'll wash away any traces of the leaking Gas/ Compressor Oil.
