The bristles are soft as mentioned, and the brushdetangles my hair for the most part. I am very pleased and surprised by this brush considering the brush detangles my hair free of pain, and I can’t feel the bristles. I have thick hair and my roots are tangle free (surprisingly) after using this brush. I’ve had this brush for two months now, and use this brush almost everyday…I’ve noticed the bristles beginning to bend…it’s a bit flimsy. So not that durable, but aside great brush…will have to repurchase in the future. I’m rating this brush 5/5 because the product description was honest and also because despite the flimsy bristles from only two months usage they still remain intact and are still useable.

I have usually order wet brush hairbrush before, but wanted to try this. I'm so glad I did. The bristles are a little more firm (yet flexible) so it feels like a scalp massage when you're brushing. I also like that these will be easier to clean!

Light weight brush that really beys the tangles out of my long hair. I like that it is eco-friendly too.

Wow, my hair has been going through a phase between exposure to city-water (still searching out a quality filter for my shower head to address that issue). Plus being effected by abnormal consistent emotional/mental stress and anxiety and poor eating habits (comfort food=too much junk food in recent months) from all the drama that 2020 has been consumed by. And after trying multiple other types of brushes this year, one of which caused a lot of hair tearing and breakage...My partially curly, often frizzy and easily knotted hair is in a major recovery mode right now to say the least. I've been using natural brushes for years and try to go the recycled route when choosing products in general, so this brush caught my attention for those reasons. But I almost didn't purchase it because the style of the brush is similar to so many others I've tried just this year that claim to detangle and have reviews backing that up. Yet, proved to cause more tangled hair in my case vs removing them!I gave this brush a shot seeing that it does have a unique design/look to it though similarly shaped like other brushes. From the moment I used it and have since used it when my hair is wet, dry, hasn't been brushed through for a day and in an unruly state; it always seems to effortlessly glide through my hair no matter what mood my hair is in.I don't think this should even be called a brush because it operates as no brush I've experienced! I'm thinking of stocking up on it so the next time I need to replace and can no longer find a brush like it (as has been the case at different points in my life), I'll already have a backup brush with the reassurance that it's an awesome brush that'll do the trick and live up to all my expectations in a hair brush.There is definitely something to be said about hair care and locating vegan, natural and even recycled materials to use for our everyday hair management from brush to leave-in conditioner to a pure silk pillow-case, etc. This brush is a MUST HAVE to add to that mix of quality hair-products that aid in maintaining healthy hair, hope it works for yours too!

It doesn't work well on wet knots. But good brush.

Really good brush. It detangles gently.

My oldest has curly hair that tangles and knots very easily. I’ve tried various brushes, many of which are for curly hair and have had mixed results. This brush has proven the best at brushing out the knots and tangles without also pulling out clumps of hair. What used to take upwards of 20 minutes has been reduced to 5- 10 if my kid is extra squirmy.The brush is easy to use, and is not uncomfortable to hold. The head of the brush is a good size, even for a toddler's head. I actually also own this brush for my hair and have had similar n good results. Definitely recommend it for people with curly hair that tangles or knots easily.
