Just got the book today.
I've looked through the book and there are a lot of interesting and easy looking recipes. The beginning has some great information on how to find out which foods cause pain and which ones your okay with. It's just a brief segment, but you can look up a more detailed information on-line and talking with your doctor. This book has me motivated to find a more natural approach to dealing with the pain and insomnia that comes with Fibromyalgia.Update on review, I've tried a few recipes and really liked them. My favorite is the Baked Yams on on page 61. They have replaced our normal sweet potatoes for the holidays. This book is has been great on making meals that my diabetic brother can also eat. Most recipes are really easy to make and don't have a lot of steps to them. When suffering from Fibromyalgia that is really important.

This Book is Excellent a must have in any home!
This Book is Excellent a must have in any home! As someone with Fibromyalgia when I look for a cookbook I do not need a whole lot of long winded talk about the Diet I just want a cookbook with simple recipes and good nutrition. This book explains the diet in an easily understandable concise manner leaving more than half the book for recipes. The Recipes are simple. Every other Fibro cookbook is recipes that are too much work. Anyone can understand that when one hurts they do not need to be pulling out 10 things in order to make a dish that can only take 5 and taste great. This cookbook keeps things simple so that there is less work on the individual and the Recipes are great. Our Favorite Recipe is the Sweet Potato Soup. My Dad hates Soup and he loves this Recipe. That says A Lot about this cookbook. If you buy it you will love it.

The book gives you some great ideas regarding the foods to be wary of and the ones that are relevant to helping with Fibromyalgia. Some of our friends have expressed interest in this book, in particular one that has a grand-daughter with this condition.

This book is so far wonderful
There are some recepies in this book that sound really wonderful. I cooked the chicken breasts today with 1/2 cup of apple juice and sesame seeds and it tasted pretty good. The only thing was that I kind of overcooked it due to the chicken scare so once it gets better I won't over cook the chicken next time. It also has really good tips in the book about fibro. I recommend this book to people that suffer with Fibro and inflammation.

A let down
I was excited to ordered this book as I am desperate or relief for Fibromyalgia. The book only has about 5 sections: Soups, Salads, Chicken, Fish and Breakfast items. Well if I would have known this I would have not ordered the book because I do not care much for soups or salads and I cannot eat fish. A few recipes looked good but offers no nutrional values. No calories or fat totals at all. It's hard for me to judge a recipe when I do not know how healthy it really is. I guess I will keep searching for now.

It would be great if the other half of the book was printed
It would be great if the other half of the book was printed. Probably just an error on the printer, not the author or seller, but a little quality control would be appreciated. I have Fibromyalgia, so having to return a book is a large ordeal for me.

Don't buy this book...
Don't buy this book if you really have fibromyalgia. I bought this book because of the name and the good reviews, I did expected reallyspecialized food recipes for fibro people, I was deeply disappointed. For the price this book is expensive, doesn't even have pictures.Regarding the contents, the recipes, almost all of them, call for some kind of dairy (my fibro sibling can't take dairy, so I can't cook followingthis recipes). As far as I know, fibro people (most of them), have IBS, or digestive problems and should not take dairy at all. Fibro peoplealso suffer a lot of sensitivities, so we have to be careful about the ingredients in a recipe. I was shocked when I saw a cake recipe askingfor 1 (one) cup of sugar (I don't use sugar), and I never use 1 cup of sugar even in recipes made for "normal People". I do think that the very good reviews were made for people that doesn't have fibromyalgia or has a very mild case. If you still want to buy this book, don't waste your money and get the cheap one (the used one). I prefer now to get books that are "whole plant based" for good recipes, and add some baked chicken or grilled fish in the side of the plate. Good luck.

Delicious and informative
I bought this book to see if I could help the symptoms of FM but it's early days yet. The recipes themselves are delicious and my daughter enjoys them too. So far I have made the soup and salads but I'm working my way through slowly. Give it a try, at least the author has looked into food intolerances for you which I found helpful.
