So, tamper resistant I’m ok with. All humans resistant? Not so much.If you have a child you are better off with the plug ins.... because when your child is older and/or you actually want to make use of the outlet it’s a complete and utter aggravation just to stick a cord in there.For me, I don’t have children. But many of my friends do, and when changing out a bunch of electrical in my home I figured it sensible to replace all the “child accessible” outlets with tamper resistant ones.Well, I should’ve checked how they felt before I did a half dozen outlets...... Sorry, but I’d take the risk of electrocution over having that happen every time I need to charge my laptop.So, General synopsis: If you like torturing yourself, go right ahead and buy 3 packs while you’re at it. If you have a child, there has to be a better game in town. If you have to tell an adult to not stick a fork in the outlet, you have larger problems to deal with and likely aren’t reading this. And if none of the above apply, just get regular outlets and save yourself the aggravating afternoon I just had.Tamper resistant is NOT a real feature. Kind of like the oxygen masks that come down in airplanes- if you find yourself requiring one your chance of survival is close to nil and it’s more of an emotional support device.

I've been replacing all my switches from a mismatch of almond toggle switches and white plates to decora style and screwless plates. These outlets are great when paired with the Enerlites wall plates. The fit and finish are better than the Leviton TP 10 pack from HD which had dimples in between outlets. These are easier to plug in as well and enough tension to keep the plug plugged in compared to my 50+years old outlets and to the Leviton.The color on these Enerlites (USE brand) products is much brighter than the leviton and lutron switches which has a grey tint to them. So be aware if you are mixing with other brands - its noticeable. I found that one of my old decora switches is much closer in tint - I think its either a cooper, blue back, from Lowe's.

These look so great replacing our old outlets. I was worried they would be hard to plug into based on reviews but they’ve been pretty simple to use. No difficulties at all.

Great product at a great price. Such a small price to update my house. Installing these new outlets, switches and covers says "I care about my property." Excellent small investment if readying your house for resale.

These are great! They are a little tight in the beginning when plugging and unplugging. I just hold down the face plate rather then pulling on the receptacle until its loosened up from constant use.

Everything was as expected, and they were less expensive than buying them from Home Depot or Lowes. They are a bit more glossy, though, so keep that in mind.

I like these - very modern, not for old fashioned rooms, but great for modern rooms, brick walls, or wood walls. Shiny brown, appear to be good quality, reasonable price.
