9 Inch Unfinished Solid Beech Wood Bowl

Gorgeous, simple, hand-turned beechwood bowls. I ordered 6 as presents for family, friends (and one for me)! This is the perfect size for hand chopping nuts, etc. if you are into slowcooking and don't care to use a food processor. Could also be quite nice as an individual salad bowl, or salad for two.As a natural wood product, there are some slight tonal blemishes inherent to the wood itself. Anyone ordering this should understand that is a possibility.The bowls are a soft, matte natural wood finish, no oiling, staining or sealing. Would probably suggest rubbing with a neutral oil if the bowl will be subjected to water for any reason.Order was filled and delivered very promptly, within a week of ordering.Was happy to find this product on Amazon, at a very reasonable price, and most especially that this is an American made item.

I had a wooden chopping bowl inherited from my parents and it lasted 50 years but finally broke. I have looked for months and found this bowl. It is a bit smaller than I would like but does the job and is very well made.

Nice hand crafted bowl but I was hoping for something I could make a decent size salad in, this isn't it. It's pretty shallow so you can't fit much in it. I wanted something deeper when I could use a chopper with.

Too small to be my go-to salad chopping bowl, but it is so pretty I didn't want to return it. So now it has a place of honor on the table as a fruit bowl.

When I was growing up my mother had a chopper and chopping bow in preparing meals. It was a very fast way to finely chop onions and other items. When in Alaska I found a chopping tool somewhat similar to my mom's. I bought it but could not find a similar bowl that had a concave bottom that fit correctly. Actually I had looked years ago for a wooden chopping bowl a chopping tool at kitchen supplies but without success. This bowl is perfect and works well for me.

Spent a pretty penny on tis bowl and it has already cracked. It was not soaked in water, only washed by hand and only used about four times before it cracked

While it is not a utensil I will use, we have chopping bowls in use frequently, have recently worn one out. This is not only good looking but also sturdy and functioinal. Now if I could find a reasonabely priced 12 inch one we would be thrilled.
