Worth the money
Sounded good after install. Hard to distinguish the high/treble side but there. Would have gave it 5 stars, but had a few faults. No instructions come with it, and after asking still didn't get them. So if you have no electrical experience get help. Pots are not flagged for identification. You will have to test first before installing them. The double stack pot is blend, the regular wired one is volume and the two ribbon cabled ones are high and low or bass and treble, but you'll have to figure out which. Overall performance was impressive. I need a boost and it provided it flawlessly. No noise, hum or distortion. Was installed on a Rogue (GC Brand) LX200B PJ bass with really weak pickups and it brought colour back into it. I am quite pleased with the cost to performance ratio.

good price, mediocre product
decent circuit, does tend to overload and does not have a trim pot to back off the max preamp output.I'm using the Seymour Duncan Bass humbucker designed for stingray pup replacement.I've put the coils parallel to the balance pot. At maximum output, the signal is distortedThe bass control has very limited range, and basically stays full-onThe treble eq control is more useful. For the price, I can't complain but honestly, this is nothing like the Seymour Duncan or original EB music man circuits.Moslty, I wish it had a trim control for the output gain.
