Nothing sprouted, even though there are many different plants in the yard. Most likely, the seeds were dead.

Tried so hard to grow the seedlings. Took them in and out for weeks. They started out ok but died off quickly. Out of a supposed 100 seeds only 22 produced any green growth.

This ornamental grass was easy to start growing indoors with sprouts starting after less then a week. Planted outdoors (12 baby grasses) after frost danger passed, and they are flourishing here in the Midwest!! Will continue to buy from this company!

I started the seeds in April and I just now have plants popping up. Not all germinated but that’s too be expected. Right now over half germinated.

I could not find any Fountain Grass in any of the local nurseries. So I choose to start from seed. I have used Outsidepride seeds before and was happy with the results. Once these arrived, I sowed about 3 seeds in each potting cell, total 10 cells. Not all germinated, But that was expected. I only want few plants, so I will just keep re-sowing until I get the plants I want. They do grow slow for grass. Time will tell

Update,: I waited two weeks for a response from the seller sending them emails requesting refund no response at all! Amazon was nice enough to refund me. I will never order from the seller again ! Seeds did not grow! Some reviews were bad so we’re good, but I should’ve listen to the bad ones. I emailed the company for a refund but of course no response. I wasted my money will not order from this company ever again. I was very excited to try to grow my own fountain grass.

Ordered these seeds and divided them up into seed starting pots indoors to discover that the package was short 4 seeds. They sprouted quickly which was great, but 25 seeds didn't sprout at all. Sure, that's the nature of seeds but my odds of plants were dropping rapidly. They grew to about 4-6" when I decided to plant them. They haven't grown since. They're still green, they're still alive but eh, stopped, gave up. No idea why they're not getting any taller. Zone 5, FYI. So, I doubt I'm going to end up with gloriously large grasses. These seem a fail almost all around. Keeping hope alive but not by much. Won't buy this brand of seed again.
