It actually works
Its flimsy and lightweight compared to other options. Only you know if you need something more robust or not. It works well, though, and the links stay connected. The glossy color is a little strange for what it's intended for.

A good inexpensive all purpose chain link for horticultural/garden use.
Its the inexpensive brand and it works well in the garden. Durable and easy to use.

Must have for planting new trees
We have used ties in the past but were introduced to this product during a tree planting community service project. We bought it to put in new trees in our yard and it is great. We have used the stakes with rope in the past and that worked too but it was a lot of hassle for lawn mowing around the new trees. This is easy to use and then adjust as the tree grows. We planted 9 tiny trees and have a bunch left so one roll goes a long ways. I guess we need to get more trees to plant to use up the rest!

Soft plastic which stretches way too much - prefer the hard plastic original lock link
Really not as good as the hard plastic product. Sun and heat make it unreliable

Versatile and useful with plants, shrubs, and Christmas decorations
I've used it to shore up sagging branches of some small trees and shrubs as well as bind the legs of bent branch reindeer. It stretches, so not as useful for staking larger trees, but useful to support and train shrubs and small trees.
