Great set of knives for a good price
My husband and I got these as a Christmas present to ourselves. He really likes to cook, so he wanted to get something nice. We shopped around and found these to be the best value for the money. I had heard about Schmidt Brothers but never purchased any of their products. These are very nice knives, and they look great too! We have them in the plastic case as almost a showpiece in our kitchen. I was afraid I would miss our old butcher block, but not at all.If your'e looking for a basic set of kitchen knives and don't want to spend a fortune, these are a good bet.

I received this set last year for Christmas and was so excited to get them as a gift. One year later they are still my favorite knife set. Its nice to have a sharp kitchen 'tool' as opposed to just some knife. Love, Love , Love this set.

Very attractive knife set and block but they are not very high quality. For $160 I believe it is a good value. I haven't had them long enough to attest to the longevity.
