Lasts forever, great for lunch and snacks in one lunchbox
My son had one of these in a shark print for 4 years and he finally outgrew the design. The lunchbag was still in worn but excellent condition. I went ahead and upgraded him to a plain design so the 5th graders would stop asking why there were sharks on his lunchbag. The other one would have kept going for many more years. Zippers were in great shape and I just throw it in the wash when needed. The new one is same durable quality and design so I expect it will last for a ver long time as well. And being that it is plain solid color, he can take it to college with him in 8 years if he wants.I use the bottom of this lunch box for lunch, and the top for snacks and drinks. It's large without being to big to fit in their backpacks. The multiple compartments are great if you have a hot thermos and cold sides too so you can separate them. I love these lunchboxes.

Good lunchbag for larger lunches
I have an old laptop lunches bag that is similar to this one. I pack my kids' lunches using either lunchblokz or Ziploc divided rectangles or pyrex glass containers. A lot of lunch bags won't fit them and a drink in either a thermos or other reusable container. This one does. It came with a bog plastic container to help the bottom hold it's shape. We don't use it because all the containers I use are either plastic or glass and hold shape just fine. I could see it being useful if you were putting baggies in that compartment instead. I will probably use the plastic container to hold markers in the craft bin so it will serve a purpose. The kids fight over this "treasure box" lunch bag. Seems well made and like it will last. My daughter spilled milk all over it and I threw it in the washing machine on hand wash and it held up so I have high hopes for this lunch bag.

Perfectly sized, conveniently thought-out lunch bag
My fella was extremely pleased with this lunch bag which combines the best of soft and hard lunch cases by including a plastic tray for a potentially hard bottom compartment and a soft top for other items that may not be so susceptible to squishing. Isn't too large or too small which I find is a plus - it will not fit larger sized water thermos but I find most people I know carry this type of thermos separately. It will fit a smaller soup thermos and other items (including ice packs) quite easily.Edit: Three years later and this lunchbag looks like new and the fella is still using it daily for lunches. The tupperware like container that came with it to fit in the bottom is still in great shape as well! Can't go wrong with this one.

Best lunch bag
This is the best lunch bag. I already purchased 3 times for my son and they lasted about 2 whole school years each. It fits a Bentgo box perfectly.

Pretty good but...
I replaced an older box with this. I really need one a little bigger but this one will do for now. I do not often use the plastic box insert in the bottom compartment. It takes a lot of space and the separate plastic containers I use won't fit with it in place. The design of the top compartment has the outside flap zipping down to close. This means, if you have loose items in the compartment, the contents may fall out when you open it.This is the problem with buying things like this online. You can't touch and feel them beforehand. On the other hand, I can't find the selection available online at brick-and-mortar outlets. The quality seems to be fine and this could be a perfect fit for someone else. I'll probably keep using it until it wears out which could be a long time.

Durable
The first one I got lasted my kid 7years. Had to replace because he lost it. 2nd kid is going on 5 years with the same lunch bag. Roomy. Easy to wipe clean. Kids use one compartment for lunch, other for snacks.

compact, easy to carry bag
We send our identical twins to school with this lunch bag. The bottom portion comes with a clear plastic container with lid to keep it rigid. It fits two Fit and Fresh 2 cup rectangular containers snugly inside and then I can put 2 toddler forks on top and close the lid. The top is roomy. We easily fit a banana and 2 Fit and Fresh 1 cup circular containers. There is definitely room for a bit more in the top as well. It is easy to wipe clean, too. I wouldn't use it for insulating food though. There isn't room for a thermos just so you know, but we didn't need that feature.
