I was worried after seeing some reviews but decided to chance it. The desk is really nice and my drawers open and close smoothly, legs feel sturdy. Assembly was easy if you're used to following picture instructions. I did it all myself, but there is a part to attach the mirror that a 2nd person would have been helpful, I found some boxes and things to stack up and hold the mirror for me while I attached it to the desk. I used a drill and the provided screw driver. Mostly the drill with torque set a 2 it was perfect for those cam lock bolts and I set at 4 for most of the screws. I'm 55, have arthritis, my back is messed up and I'm overweight, so if I can do it-anyone can. There were only 2 flaws a chip in one board they painted over it with whiteout or something, but that ended up being inside the cabinet so no big deal and one of my screws and a piece of metal stuck in it and I had to go find a random matching screw in my tool box same length and girth so it worked out too.

I bought this for myself to replace my old dresser. It took up too much room and not alot of storage space.I was super excited to receive this in the mail. It took me and a friend a couple hours to put it together, some of the instructions didnt make sense, but we figured it out! I am 5'1 and while I was putting it together, I was scared that it would come out too short for my height, but turned out to be absolutely perfect! The material is strong, was common sense to build it, the drawers are perfect to me and the lights are brilliant!!! I can see every pore on my face! The locking mechanism for holdidng all the pieces together were a bit tricky, just have to keep adjusting and then it locks. Its beautiful and worth the price. I would buy it again if needed!

Nice looking mirror

My boyfriend bought me this vanity as a Valentines Day present! It matched my room’s decor and had nice shelves that I can display my cuter make up palettes on.It was rather laborious to put together with lots of little pieces. The shelving is a bit narrower than we expected but all in all it is a rather sturdy desk.My only BIG complaint is that it arrived with a rather important and noticeable piece damaged. The corner of the backboard was completely dinged as though it had been dropped. Unfortunately there were no more in stock to do an exchange and we had looked through all the other desks and this was the only one that really matched the look of my room and offered the storage I needed. I put a cute sticker over it to cover it up but I still know it is there which kind of irks me. I know I kept it by my own choice and I am sure I could have returned it (I think I could have but we didn’t try) but I include it in my review to warn others to check all their pieces before putting things together!All together it is a fairly sound vanity. The lights work wonderfully and there is plenty of storage for all my makeup needs!

I was really worried after reading all of the negative reviews about it not being sturdy. The only thing I agree with is yes - there are a ton of pieces and this will take a while to put together (took me about 3 hours) but it’s worth it! Take your time and do each step right and you won’t have any issues. I had a second set of hands help me during fastening the mirror and then moving the vanity to its spot. It’s very sturdy, drawers are smooth and lights are so bright! I love all of the space this has! This was a huge upgrade from what I had and I’m really happy with it.I did upgrade the hardware on the drawers! I also included the dimensions of the chair I bought to help others looking to see what will fit.

This was a great product for the price. It's made of very high density fiberboard (much better than the stuff you get from target, Walmart, home Depot etc). The packaging was very good with foam and protectors been every piece. The boxes actually come with both cardboard and heavy duty plastic corner protectors to make sure the box isn't crushed in shipping. Light bulbs came in a wooden box to protect them. I would be very careful taking the pieces out of the package to make sure you don't damage pieces. I pulled each piece out individually to make sure nothing "knocked" and none of the pieces were damaged at all. There are a lot of pieces and I think dumping them or sliding the box out around them could definitely knick the corners. Comes in two boxes that each weigh 50-60lbs. The wider, flatter box has the mirror in it.Came with a lot of extra hardware and all pieces were marked clearly. Directions were very easy to follow and were the same as any directions I've received with furniture. The packet was stapled backwards though so pages flipped left to right (all steps were numbered so it wasn't a problem.I don't know what the reviews about wood glue etc mean(there is no wood glue or nails holding pieces together. Everything is screwed in). It comes with a decent screwdriver but I would recommend a Philips screwdriver or drill as well to make assembly easier. The feet have screw divots where they need to go, but there aren't screw holes so they need to be drilled in(or use A LOT of brute strength). I'm thinking this is to make sure the feet are secure.Drawers open and close very nicely. The directions also let you know how to fix them if they don't slide smoothly(the slide bars are attached with easily removable screws and can be adjusted up or down a few mm).Lightbulbs are great. Very bright and the sockets are standard E26 so the bulbs can be replaced easily.Great piece just make sure you have a lot of space to lay out pieces for set up and move it with two people as it is HEAVY.
