I can pick up jars very well with this. Just remember that it does not clip to the top. If you let go of it at all, the jar will drop. You must keep a grip on it the entire time. I broke a jar of jam this way. Oops!

This jar lifter is awesome better than the one I had before. It seems sturdy and thicker. So far it’s working great.

These tongs are easy to use and comfortable. The grip works well on taking jars in and out of the boiling water. So far the are very easy to clean and are rust resistant. They are thick enough that they are sturdy. I can take the in and out of the water and not get burned . One thing to note is the length. They are on the shorter side so make sure they will be a good size for what you are looking for.

The rubber does not handle heat very well, so it starts the fall off. It is good for the price.
