I bought the wrong size wicks, but that's my fault. These wicks, if you don't handle them carefully, will crack and bend but even if they bend or crack they can still be used for candle making.Just be sure to get the right size wick for the candle(s) you're making. My container (a pint Mason jar) was too big, I guess, and so when it burns it creates a narrow tunnel down the center and eventually the beeswax pools so much it extinguishes the wick and the wax on the sides of the jar don't melt along with the wick, so I have a silly tunnel in the center of my candle.Back to the drawing board.

THese had great reviews so I bought them. I'm really, really happy with them. I used them in homemade beeswax candles and they don't smoke at all.

So far, I've used only two of these wicks, but they seem to burn very well. I was able to rescue a candle that left a lot of wax. They seem to burn much much better than some other wicks I bought from a store.

Lots of build up as the wick is burning, always seems to drop little burnt pieces in the candle. Good length and easy to keep straight, but probably would not buy again.

Perfection. So very glad I found these, they are EXACTLY what my candles needed. Will be ordering more soon.

A bit expensive, but little better that the thinner wicks as far as a good flame,

Burns unevenly and create sort of a mushroom at the top which breaks off and creates a large burning mass in the wax.
