These didn't line up with my grills plates all the way.. it lined up with the first 2 grates(bars) then would not line up with the rest of the grates. So, I had to use the edges to clean the grill, and even then, I really had to burn everything until it turned grey to get it off with these. Otherwise, they leave pieces of cardboard on the grate. I think these will probably work on the chrome plated grates(round) but not on porcelain coated cast iron grates(triangle shaped)Waited too long to give them a try, so can't return them now.. will stick to the scrub brushes...

Exactly what I was looking for after seeing the Good Morning America piece on the dangers of using the wire scrubbers. I must own or have owned every scrubber on the market and without fail they start to disintegrate leaving metal behind. Although this concerned me a bit it was not until I saw the damage that is possible when you ingest some fragment on TV that I threw out my collection and found these. Hoping the pack lasts a season!

These cardboard scrubbers require more elbow grease for cleaning the grill, however, it is well worth the effort. The cardboard is very sturdy and you can use one several times. Love not having to worrying about the possible side effects that come with metal bristle brushes. We bought extra to give as gifts and have received positive feedback from the recipients.

Beats having the nylon brush being gooey all the time.

It is ok for cleaning between ridges of grill if you clean the grill first.

Only takes off the easy stuff, but doesn't do well in the battle against tougher grime. As it breaks down, it can leave paper bits behind on the grill as well. Really great idea, but not going to buy again.

Good for big chunks but not the charred, firmly attached stuff. It tends to leave flecks of cardboard if you scrub too hard.
