Comes with 2 filters, Fluval official media, Fluval filters work well for my fish tank needs.

If you don’t go with fluval name brand you have a 50/50 chance the filters are the correct length. I did this for a while to save a little money but more often than not I would have to double up the filters because they were the improper length. Also, not really worth it to fight with someone on a return like that. Go with the name brand

Absolutely love the fluval filter! It's incredibly efficient at keeping my tank clean and maintaining optimal water quality for my axolotls. Setup was super easy and fast, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and effective filtration system for their aquarium.

Work good but hard to get for a good price

This filter media works well in my turtle tank. It is a little pricey, but worth it for the quality.

I didn't like the renewal pack you had to purchase for the Fluval Accent Aquarium just to get a replacement filter. I don't think there's but one filter and a bottle of bio which I don't need. Did a little research and I ordered these to replace the originals and they work fine. The only thing that was different is these filters don't have the extension on the top to pull them out. Other than that they fit and work fine in my Fluval Accent 25 gallon aquarium setup that came with its own filter.

This filter is quiet and the 3 current settings are great to provide oxygen and a little action for the fish inside to all areas of the tank. I have four 4-6 inch oscars and two plecostomus in a 55 gallon tank and they have been much livelier since we got this filter. I have no room in the back of my aquarium, its almost flush with the wall, for traditional filters and my two hoods have premade cuts for openings but since I have this filter there is no need to use them. I just used some plants to cover the filter from view inside the tank and all in all, my aquarium looks great and my fish love it. I definitely recommend buying this product if you don't want or cant have a traditional filter on the lip of the aquarium tank.

The filter cartridge arrived promptly the next day to be used in my newly set up fish tank. I was given a used filter from a friend and decided to use new cartridges and media inside. Once out of the pack the quality of the filter is excellent and so easy to install and fit inside of the filter housing. The top unclips which makes it so easy to remove and then clean. Since it has been in use the fish are all happy and healthy so it is doing exactly as it is meant to function. Money well spent on a quality product.
