Great product at great price
Expected to pay north of £80, but found these and so glad I did. Wasn't expecting great sound as been using earbuds (which never stay in place when putting helmet on and are uncomfortable always), but the sound on these is surprisingly good. Much better depth than earbuds and great volume range for this deaf old geezer. The voice activation works well and all seems clear and simple.Application was very easy and supplied spare velcro discs greatly appreciated. The mini usb was tight and hard to insert and still not sure if fully in as cannot see any LED...on or off, so only time will tell if indeed it is actually charging.I'm gonna test ride them now so wont post this until back.OK, that's done. Only did some city miles and below 30mph, but made some calls and listened to music.Ears were a bit pressed and uncomfortable at times but seem to sort out by wiggling helmet. With tight fitting older helmets, I guess there will always be pressure here and next week my trip to Cornwall will tell me more.Phone feature was neat, system speaks out incoming number and you just say answer and it does.Forgive this neanderthal, but for someone who gaffer tapped speakers to his CX500 windshield in the 80's, I am constantly impressed with any technology.Volume was lower on phone call so struggled a bit to hear over 20mph but obviously volume can be turned up. Mic worked well at 30 and wind noise didn't affect mic much (open face helmet). The buttons are small and probably impossible to use with gloves, but I don't want to be taking/making many calls on bike anyway.Just ordered a waterproof phone mount which will keep phone visible and easier to accept/make calls, volume and ID calls easier.Bit rambling, but really quite pleased with this kit and the affordability

Nice product
For less than £30 this is a great product.Pros - price, battery life, simplicityCons - speakers are quite thick, sound quality not the greatest but good enough, mic boon is flimsy and moves too much.Would I buy one as a present for a mate? Yes.Would I buy another for myself? Yes

Does what it says on the tin
Purchased to use with Google maps only. The speakers are 11mm thick.Fitted to the helmet easily. With ear plugs in and volume at max, directions can be heard and understood at motorway speeds with very little distortion. I'm not using the phone function on the bike but did try it. Sound was fine, didn't like the auto pick up for incoming calls and no manual option available. Call function has been turned off on the phone itself. Only bought for use with Google maps and for this it is great value for money and works very well. No bike to bike mesh style function. Connects very easily and quickly when switched on. Battery life so far as advertised.

could be better
It would be good to get a guide on the helmets these are the best for. luckily my girabldi helmet has foam inserts to fit these style of headphones perfectly. from there it went down hill because they still press my ear despite getting the thin version and can be quite uncomfortable on longer rides.Sound quality is great good base and very clear. The main gripe is that the blue tooth kept loosing connection switching it on and off you have to double check it and there is a nack as I do food delivery and turn the music off by turning the unit off to save battery just easier then using the phones blue tooth controls but then will not connect again.Very temperamental and sometimes does not connect when I turn it on first time in the morning. I have never had this with any other blue tooth products and it is quite strange to be honest as if it did not do this it would have been excellent. Seller did reimburse me a little but I tried to save money on a budget version and I have had to many budget headphones to mention which functionality were very bad however this one has great sound quality but poor connectivity-i am not sure if this is common with the product either

Although cheap has done what it says
Got these 4 days ago and followed the instructions for battery charging as soon as I opened box. Easy fitting into Bell star race helmet (full face)with loads of sticky pads to choose from so can be swapped between helmets. Once fully charged (30mins) connected to phone which was really easy and hasn’t dropped out whilst riding. Played music to a pretty good sound. It is not going to be exceptional sound quality but it’s pretty good for the price.Have used this for 4days riding around to places with no charging and has lasted so far. Haven’t had any real problems just changed to Chinese which was a bit unexpected on starting up but fat fingers so could be down to them. Has changed back to English once more. The boom is quite handy in full face helmet as can be tucked away but easy to get to if needed just need to feel your way to turn up/down the volume or change song which I find easy enough to do. Would definitely recommend BT40 purchase as just about right thickness of headset against your ears for comfort. Ears did get a little sore from taking the helmet on and off so many times but will reposition them to hopefully sort that problem.

Terrible, absolutely terrible
Purchased this so I can speak to people via phone but the microphone is so bad. My mate has the exact same one as me and it’s terrible too.The connection is bad, you hear it say “connected but it’s not, you need to disconnect and then reconnect.Easy to use, turn it on and disconnect then reconnect and it’s doneBattery life is decent, lasts quite a while. The audio quality is tinny, no bass when listening to music
