This is the first time I'm doing pumpkin carving, so I was looking for a high quality kit and came across this one.All the tools feel very sturdy and made of high quality materials. They won't bend as they are very solid.The double-sided tools are very good for fine details. I actually used almost all of them on the first pumpkin I made, because the pumpkin was small and the shapes I did had a lot of fine details.So this tool kit was perfect for it!Maybe it misses one tool similar to the Pumpkin Drill, just with a smaller diameter, but I could handle without it, and I'm not sure if that one exists in other kits anyway.Just note that those double-sided tools are very sharp, so just be careful. Obviously this is a good thing, but I wouldn't put them near my little kids for example. (with older kids that shouldn't be an issue of course)When I was making pumpkin carving with my little kids, we used only the big tools and I left the double-sided tools away in the case, but for the other pumpkin carving I did by myself, I used almost all the set. (including the double-sided tools which I found extremely useful)It was very easy to clean them after use, and they got dry pretty fast as well.Overall, I'm very pleased with that kit and highly recommend it to everyone.Sharp and sturdy tools. The handles are very comfortable.The case is really nice as well, to be able to store the kit for years to come.It comes with an instructions sheet which describes each tool, and has carving steps instructions as well.Attached a few pictures of pumpkin carving done with that kit.

I am thoroughly impressed with these tools! I read so many reviews, and was skeptical about their durability since many people said it broke right away. But I used literally every one and none of them broke, or even seemed flimsy. They were all so sharp and allowed me to do this super fun, intricate design. Almost too sharp, since I cut myself, but it made the carving so fun and easy.Also, can’t believe these are just under $20. Not gonna lie, I really only made my decision based on the fact that I needed something delivered overnight and this one delivered in every way!A great set to have for many years for any Halloween lover!

I've made some creative pumpkin designs in the past using what tools I had available - cheap, plastic pumpkin carving kits that you see in stores, a hobby knife, rotary tool, etc. These tools would get the job done, but not very easily.After watching a pumpkin carving competition on TV and seeing the kinds of tools those artists used, I was inspired to seek out a set of such tools for my own. This set of tools seemed to contain everything I saw the artists on TV use (aside from a chainsaw).What a difference! These tools allowed me to create some amazing pumpkins designs this Halloween. I was able to do things that my previous tools never allowed me to do. It was also much easier and quicker using these specialized tools. Not only that, but these tools very sturdy. My family and I carved 4 pumpkins total, with both my kids and me using the tools. They didn't slip in our hands, and you never felt like they were about to break or give out. The supplied carrying case keeps everything organized, so I don't have to worry about losing anything between now and next Halloween. Rinsing the tools after use and drying them before putting them back in the case, everything still looks good as new. I have a feeling we're going to get a lot of great out of these tools for many Halloweens to come.

This kit is amazing. I’ve used it for so much not only pumpkins but watermelons, chocolate, & other food centerpieces. I thought I was being careful & it only took a very small slip & poked right into the tip of my finger… immediately gushing blood lol! It was my own fault im only warning people that these are PROFESSIONAL TOOLS & COME SHARPENED! Get yourself some protective gloves to prevent any injuries

I felt inspired to begin my journey into advanced pumpkin carving and so I bought this carving kit. It was a great hit between my wife and I as we crafted our bowser masterpiece this year. The tools are durable, ergonomic, and a great variety for most of your carving needs. Very happy with this purchase.

Won’t be able to zip it back as it’s missing the starting joint line. Further down you can see some loose thread making the teeth misaligned. Everything thing else looks good.

My family and I had such a great time with these, we had a giant pumpkin carving extravaganza, and when the total count passed 15, I realized what we needed. This was exactly what I wanted, and it worked beautifully-- I'll be buying four more for the rest of my family next year, because everyone was so excited. tools felt a little fragile, but I think it was more that I was nervous because of reviews I read of other kits.My warning though-- these guys really aren't messing around. I was really nervous with my 10 year old brother using these, they're so sharp. At one point I reflexively flipped a tool like a pencil and just barely skimmed my thigh with the tool on the other end-- I noticed later that I'd taken off a stripe of hair and had a tiny line of scabbing, like a paper cut.ALSO-- most of the tools are double ended so please please mind the other end as you work-- most of my family is ADD or ADHD and we had a couple near mishaps due to lack of attention.Still, I wouldn't change a thing about these tools, they're PERFECTLY sharp and every tool has a purpose. An artistic warning though-- the image I've included, I went back and retouched twice, and it still needed three candles to be visible; if this is your first time doing stuff like this, you need to go much thinner than you think you do.

I used this carving set on some very large pumpkins. It made the job very easy. Sturdy tools, easy to use, and comfortable in my hand. I have used cheaper sets only to have to haul out my kitchen knives. There was no need for that with these tools. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. My grandkids aged 6 and 10, also carved their pumpkins with this set and commented on how easy it was. I have attached a photo of their pumpkins. I would recommend.

Great tools for carving pumpkins. Grand children had an easy time using them.Would recommend them.

Certain tools broke after first use

The “chisel” broke within a minute of using it. For the price they charge it’s like a child’s toy.
