These work great if you need to get just small pieces out like fish balls, etc. For that they are perfect. If you also have larger pieces like vegetable, large shrimp, etc in your soup then I would go one size up. They still work fine but it's just a little bit harder to get those larger pieces out of the soup. But for small pieces they are great. The quality seems good.

I love these. I would order another set if they were available. I made a hot pot meal for my sister visiting from out of town, and I made my own small Asian-inspired ground beef meatballs and ground lamb meatballs. As the meatballs take the longest to cook, we used the strainers to keep a meatball submerged in the boiling broth and then cooked our vegetables in the broth, fishing them out with long cooking chopsticks (not our eating chopsticks). The meatballs were cooked perfectly, and we started another batch in the strainers as we dined on those we had just cooked. We each used two strainers as we needed room in the pot to cook our vegetables, but that was plenty for small bites. It took a wonderfully relaxing long time to eat, and we had great conversations as we shared the experience.

Good for boba

Very sturdy and works great for hotspots. The little middle metal piece seems like it should bend to hold onto the pot but not sure. I tried to bend one but got worried I might break it or it not bend at the right angle to stay on the side. Other than that amazing holds in veggies and meats.

Good and easy to handle, perfect fit for our family member when we enjoy our hot pot in our house. It will not transfer a lot of heat when you using it so it is good for us to pick up the hot pot items without burning your hand. I am highly recommended.

These were just the right size for cooking small portions of meat, fish, and vegetables in my Shabu pot. They are sturdy, just the right length with a catch to keep them from sliding in. The stainless steel construction is easy to clean. The handles are long enough to stay outside the pot and stay cool and are easy to handle.

These strainers are well made. Stainless steel. Really happy with them :)
