First off, I knew this did not have infrared capability. Did not come with specific install instructions, but if one has completed a camera install before this should be easy. Simple common sense applied and I had my desired picture upon connection. Some info for good installation; uploaded a picture with comments on it. There are two adjustments that can be done to obtain the field of view desired and ensure that it is properly oriented. Hope it helps.

Excellent camera for an excellent price. View angle is really 180 degrees installed on a wall. Quality is excellent at day and good at night...it is actually very clear at night considering there are no infrared night vision on it. Install was a bit more work due to the switch device, about 4x2x1.5 cm dimension, attached to the wire which made it hard to get the wire through the hole. I ended up cutting the wire and reconnecting it again (all 12 little wires) after it went through the hole. Otherwise you would need a hole of atleast an 1inch diameter because of the switch but wire is only about 7mm diameter. But once I had the wires reconnected and plugged into my dvr, it worked like charm. It's functioning very well so far.
