Used to think pasta was pasta, now I see how wrong I was!
I was never a pasta snob before, but I never really cared for pasta because it tasted heavy and made me feel ick. I would make it for dinner a couple times a month anyway, because my family loves pasta and it was very easy to get on the table.An actual Italian recommended this, I found it on sale, so I picked some up for my family. They raved about the pasta dinner I made, which was the same one I always made, so I tried some of it -- it was markedly much more tasty! The texture was better, it had a heartier flavor that wasn't there before, it held the sauce much better. I had a small helping myself, something I never do, and it did not put me to sleep afterwards. I did not wake up feeling gross either. It does have an extra gram of protein than other pastas, so that may be one of the factors in it being more balanced in digestion.I feel silly for not trying other pastas sooner, but I am glad to have finally discovered that it really does make a difference all around. We have this pasta once a week now with a different sauce every time. It's a great vehicle to get extra veggies on the plate too, it holds up well to very chunky sauces.I am a Rummo fan now. I'm thrilled to be able to get it delivered, since it is often out of stock at the grocery store. Thumbs up all around.

Authentic Italian Pasta
I’ve been purchasing brands that are available in my local grocery store. I decided to try this brand and I’m never going back! Is it more expensive, yes, but it’s so worth it. Play around with the cooking times. I like my pasta a little more al dente, so I remove it from the heat about a minute early and finish with the sauce. Also, your pasta water will have a lot more starch in it (it’s visible) nice for adding a little to your sauce to get it to bind to the pasta.

Best dry pasta
I was told this is the best pasta to make with Carbone's Spicy Vodka jarred sauce by a Carbone employee, but am unable to purchase it at any grocers near me. The ridges are deep and hold a good amount of sauce. I was a little worried about the pasta arriving broken, but even though it arrived in a shipping envelope vs. a box, literally every single piece of pasta in the bag is intact. I was a little worried that maybe it would be a little TOO firm, but it was perfect cooked in the time stated in the directions. A+ pasta, would be great with any sauce.
