A Delicious Treat
Great service. This is a well known and traditional brand in Taiwan. The package was shipped from its origin Taiwan by DHL It adds authenticity of a well known brand. I received much earlier than what it states in delivery date. The package was well packed. Each cake is individually wrapped and sealed. Very presentable. It is very delicious. I serve as my afternoon tea snack. It is my work at home treat. I will order again. I took a beautiful picture but I don't see where I can upload the image. Anyway a great product. I gave it 5 stars in all.

Good Little Sweet Snack
I was fooled by the pacakaging. The box cover looks like they are fairly big pieces of cake with pineapple filling. They're not. They're cookies about 1.5 inches in length and 1/4 of an inch thick. The cookie is very tasty, a little crumbly though. It taste kind of like cheesecake with a chewy strip (and I mean strip) of filling (something else the package deceived me on). They are actually reminiscent of those cookies with the bit of fruit in the center like Knotts Berry Farm's shortbread cookies. The difference is the cookie is more buttery and instead of being in the middle of a flat cookie, it's a filling. While you can taste the butter, in no way does it taste like pineapple. I double checked with someonelse and they didn't get a hint of pineapple either. The filling is secondary really especially since there's so little of it.They definitely weren't what I was expecting, but they're very good. Since they're individually wrapped, they're easily transportable.edit 1 wk later: The filling isn't a strip in each cookie nor are all of them crumbly. Either the manufacturing is inconsistent or my box had then end of one batch and the beginning of another.

Bad quality for price
Way way small these are extremely small for the price compared to other products. The taste is not worth $40 it’s very very generic taste, the short bread has no sweet butter taste like it should, the short bread taste like dry pie crust. Extremely dissatisfied with this ripoff

Not very good
These are pretty dry. And they leave a strange after taste.

Impossible to stop eating once you start
Like other posts, I agree this package looks like the same one from Costco, but it's not -- the so-called "cakes" are smaller and maybe not quite as tasty but still good. Although called pineapple cakes, they are more like shortbread cookies with a thin layer of jam-like substance (but drier and chewier than jam) in the middle. Over priced for what you get but I understand they are a tradition in Taiwan, available only around Chinese New Year and pineapple cakes are considered good luck so I guess it's worth it.
