Finally there is something fun for little boys to add to their miniature garden. The Dilophosaurus (die-LOF-oh-SAWR-us) is a speedy, slender dinosaur from the early Jurassic period. Standing on two legs, this theropod has a distinctive feature of paired, bony, almost semi-circular crests on its head. The short arms have three-fingered hands, while the strong legs have feet with four toes. Swirls of rust coloring accent the green and gray body of the Dilophosaurus. Create a dinosaur land where trees and buildings are miniature in size and this prehistoric animal towers over the landscape. What little boy won't enjoy gardening with a dinosaur!
