Great case if you use it for what it's meant for
PROS:1 My SG standard fits snug inside2 Guitar does not rest on the headstock inside the case3. Small compartment for guitar accessories4. Its an inexpensive case.CONS1. The hardware holding the case closed is ok. It's not great. I can force it open with my hands.2. There is a slight chemical smell left over from manufacturing. Just leave it sit open for a day and it goes awayThis case is great for protecting you guitar at your home, and for small amounts of travel, like to your friend's house, a local gig, or to a guitar shop. Keep your guitar in here and you won't have to worry about your cat, dog, or kids messing it up. THIS CASE IS NOT FOR FLYING OR TOURING. If you drop it in your house it will protect your guitar, if a dude loading an air plane throws it you will probably be in trouble. To the people giving this case bad reviews because of the hardware I say come on people it's a $100 guitar case you should not expect it to be ideal for touring or flying. And I also think the pink material inside looks nice in contrast to my ebony SG.

Not sure what its actually meant to carry.
This case seems to be well built. The problem is that it is listed as being for a Jaguar/Jazzmaster guitar. It is way to big in every direction to hold a Jazzmaster. There was between 3 and 4 inches gap at the headstock. With the guitar positioned in the center of the case, there was 3/4 of an inch gap between the top and bottom of the guitar and the sides. Also the part that was to support the neck seemed to be too tall. The guitar did not sit flat in the case. I am certain it would be a great case for whatever it was meant to carry, but it definitely was not meant for a Jazzmaster.

The is a solid day to day case
I don't gig, but this one might stand up to gigging. it's pretty danged solid. There's nothing I don't like about it other than the inside is bubble gum pink and I don't much care about that. The hardware is good, it fits my Epi SG great with proper support, and has a decent storage area that easily hold a bunch of stuff, or a guitar cable without other stuff. The hardware (latches and such) is good. Not the best I've seen, farrrr from the worst I've seen. For the price it is an EXCELLENT case. This is 100% a great day to day case for non-giggers, at least. It is NOT a flight case so don't think it is (nor is it advertised as such).Bottom line is I am very happy with it for my Epi G400, fits like a glove (If a guitar had five fingers for a glove)

Beautiful case, but really cheap hardware.
This guitar case I would have rated five stars but the hinges and latches are so flimsy that I'll give it two stars. They're that bad. I'm keeping it but only because I need a case right now to protect my SG, otherwise it would go back. Doesn't compare with the Chromacast case I bought last month for a Les Paul. Seriously, if the manufacturer spent about a dollar more per case they'd have a winner. Truth.

Not worth it.
A bit disappointed in this Gator product. Cheap hardware with a premium price point. Not how to keep brand loyal customers. Colors are off. I would not exactly call darker brown stitching "contrast stitching". Not as plush as photos show. Latches bend out of alignment easily. Case feels a lot like cardboard not even plywood. I might have looked a little harder if this case did not have a great look. And I am willing to bet I might have been able to find a similar looking case with much better quality for the price of this one. IMHO move on folks.

Thought I was getting a deal, but I was wrong
Found a deal on a used case that was suppose to be in good shape. The packing was in good shape but when it arrived part of the top was broken (see pictures)Wood case? HA!!! Maybe it grew on a cardboard tree.I'm not very happy with the condition, BUT I am not a gigging musician. I won't be traveling with it very often and it will protect my Les Paul

Wood screws holding the latches
Looks nice. Bought for SG 24 fret. Fits perfect.But.. the latches are attached with wood screws. When I got mine the head stock and center latches had already been stripped, one screw was half out. First time I have ever seen wood screws used on a case instead of rivets in the 30 years of playing, buying and selling guitars. I just replaced the stripped ones with bigger wood screws. So not a big deal. I wouldn't trust the case to stay together on a road trip, definitely no plane rides.

Nice case but not for me.
This is a very nice case. I love the look of the exterior and interior materials. I returned it due to my Strat didn’t fit as snuggly as I wanted and would slide around inside, more forward and backward then side to side. Ended up finding a used but very new condition ChromaCast Strat case for half the price of this one and my Strat fit snug inside. I really appreciate that Amazon let me return the Gator case and get other instead.

An excellent case but the kitsch interior is a bit over the top
Sometimes, when writing a review you have to pause to decide whether an aesthetic issue is actually all that important when compared against usefulness and whether an item is fit for purpose. In this case it's the interior which is a shocking pink that made me stop to think. There's also a silky cover attached to the case by straps which allow it to be folded over the top of your instrument. The strap which stops the lid falling back is as fluffy as the fluffiest cuddly toy. The only word to describe all this pinkness is KITSCH.But is that enough to deduct a star?Does the case do a good job?Is it strong and well built?Does it protect your guitar and can you store a good amount of accessories inside the interior compartment? My experience of using this case suggests that all four answers have to be 'Yes'.I don't think I'd recommend this case for heavy gigging but if you're doing that, you'll probably be looking for a much stronger case anyway. For general day-to-day use + storage + safely moving your guitar by carrying it in a car or van, it does a good job. As can be seen in the montage of photos that I've attached to this review, the accessory compartment can hold a good amount of items. If you transport several pedals (especially any needing power transformers) you will probably already have a pedalboard or maybe a different type of strengthened case such as the 'Armourdillo Lightweight Hard-Foam Case for Full-Size Electric Guitars'.So - interior aesthetics aside - the case gets a full 5 stars from me. I don't leave it open to admire the inside, so those aesthetic issues are irrelevant to how well the case does its job.

Great value case for Fender Jaguar
Bought this for my Fender Jaguar, after it came with a Gig Bag instead of a proper case. Its important to get the right size, and comparing this to similar cases for Strats and Teles it is larger due to the size of the offset body. The case fits my guitar well, if anything theres a little too much room around the edges, but not enough to worry about the guitar getting damaged.Theres a large storage area inside as well, large enough to store the tremolo arm and a few bits and pieces.Overall case feels pretty sturdy. This is a budget case, so dont expect top quality construction. But the job of a case is to protact the guitar and take a few knocks. For this purpose the case is great value.

Awesome Guitar Case 10/10 Would Roccomend
I’ve only had the case a few days, but it is very beautiful and robust. It has a lovely suede outer and a very plush interior. Its very well made and you can tell. Its a fair weight, but I wouldn’t say it was too heavy. You won’t regret buying it. It fits my Ibanez rg370 perfectly, and would fit most strat or telly style guitars. I bought it on prime, the delivery could have been better took four days to arrive, and I had to email amazon about it, it should have been next day. It arrived in a monster of a carboard box very well protected, which I thought was a little ironic because I bought thos case because I wanted something that could take a bit of abuse. I will update this review once I’ve had the case for a few months. So far it has been incredible!

Gator deluxe guitar case
This is a truly lovely guitar case! Feels very robust and the suede type dark brown covering is superb giving a very luxurious look to the case I love the mink coloured soft fur effect lining too which sets off my pearloid finished vintage Telecaster type guitar perfectly! I note someone gave it one star as it arrived broken but I hope they will re-do their review once they have a replacement as this is a five star product! The catches etc seem very sturdy and it is all screwed not stapled together! A very fine case at a very reasonable price! It was very poorly packaged and arrived in a soft corrugated cardboard wrapper that was ripped in several places but thankfully the plastic protective bag had not been punctured so the case was perfect! A really lovely guitar case and just that little bit different! I am really pleased with it and do not hesitate to recommend it to other purchasers! I don't think it is too heavy and with my pretty heavy guitar inside it is not any heavier to carry than any other case I own!

Nice case - but not for Jazzmasters.
Lovely case nice finish etc BUT be warned this is NOT really big enough for a Jaguar/Jazzmaster shape contrary to what other reviewers state (AND despite dimensions giving adequate length - which it is btw - but the width is more like 38cm not 40cm+ as it states in product details) Anyway I have made it fit just about but requires some shoehorning which isn’t optimal... I would have returned & swapped for Jaguar specific case but I was only going to get partial refund on shipping so it was going to be expensive! Anyway I imagine for more standard Strat/Tele shape guitars it’s 100% fine.
