The summerslam with the promise "you'll never see it coming" made it obvious something big would happen,but what? What indeed.The first event where we see video board type audience in the thunderdome. It actually works to see fans reacting,i quite like the look of it,still look forward to an actual audience though.Match one then and BAYLEY defends against ASUKA in decent enough encounter to get things going,some good moments and told a good story,more so towards the end.ANGEL GARZA and ANDRADE take on THE STREET PROFITS for their tag belts and it is ok but nothing more than filler really.MANDY ROSE wants revenge against SONYA DEVILLE in a loser leaves wwe no dq match. It's pretty good and does what it has to do,i quite enjoyed the action. As for after the match with a certain dance move being attempted,oh dear.DOMINIC (son of REY MYSTERIO) takes on SETH ROLLINS in a real grude STREET FIGHT match for a measure of revenge after the eye incident with rey. What a debut from DOMINIC,really good stuff,paced it well and did some nice moves. The story of the match was well done with both Dominic's parents showing up,i really liked it.ASUKA now takes on SASHA BANKS for her belt and a great little battle it is too. Really nice wrestling and again good story telling with an end that just had to haooen.DREW MCINTYRE defends against RANDY ORTON in a match i thought was match of the night. Very impressive if somewhat slow at times style match. I enjoyed the chemistry and the promise of further encounters with these. The end though nothing major worked for the moment,i had no problem with it.BRAUN STROWMAN DEFENDS his title against THE FIEND in a match better than that swamp fight (not hard)but still nothing great,it is a falls count anywhere match and they do fight around the place a bit but the last few minutes are odd and stupid and disappointing. Then the aftermatch and that incident we did not see coming (some might have) and it works,it makes an impact and it did surprise me.All in all,pretty good event,perfect no,but pretty good.
