Better grate for the Webber Go Anywhere grill...
The new version of the Webber Go Anywhere grill comes with a flat, enameled grill plate surface which keeps grease from dripping onto your burner/s, but doesn't provide the "flavorizer" function from smoke due to the little flame ups on this under guard from dripping grease. The flat plate also fails to produce grill lines/marks, and will likely need to be washed/scrubbed separately as opposed to brought up to temp and scrubbed with a bit of tin foil as you can with this stainless steel. This kit is high quality and fit/replaced the stock plate perfectly. I wish I didn't have to buy this separately but am glad it was available and am highly satisfied.

Perfect fit
I read the reviews on the Weber go anywhere that said the original grate and separate flavorizor bar was far superior. After using it for a while with the original stamped grate,bi have to agree. This is the old design and is great. Mine fit perfectly unlike some of the reviews.

This should be standard on Weber "Go anywhere" propane grill
Even after covering the broiler pan with HD aluminum, it still took 1hr. of soaking & scrubbing to clean, Totally nuts!Got my new "Upgrade"; very nice, HD materials, stainless, both pieces.I wondered how the "Flavorizer bar" would fit. It is wide, covers the entire bottom. It rests on the grill legs, which are 1bout 3/4' protruding inside the grill. The stainless steel grate should be a breeze to clean with just a wire brush.FWIW, I found cleaning the broiler pan with copper scrubbys works well, still requires a lot of work. The copper is hard enough to take off the baked on carbon from meat & sauce. The Flavorizer covers 95+% of the bottom, over the burner. Since it does not take much of a breeze to put out the flame, the "Broiler pan" had holes to relight with a clicker long lighter. Have not seen if this is feasible with "Flavorizer".More to come after I use it

Retrofit your Weber Go Anywhere propane grill to the original configuration
There seems to be consensus with many long time Weber Go Anywhere propane grill users that the original configuration with flavorizer shield and traditional grate is superior to the current production configuration. This kit allowed me to retrofit my new grill to the original configuration and I am very satisfied with the results. In order to get the flavorizer to rest perfectly on the ends of the folding leg rod ends that protrude into the grill, I did have to trim 1/8" of each rod end. This minor fit modification isn't necessary for performance, but now everything fits together perfectly. All in all, I am very satisfied with my grill using this kit.

Excellent Upgrade for Newer Weber-Go-Anywhere
I was looking at buying the Weber Go Anywhere in 2021, and a lot of people mentioned how much better the original stainless grate and separate flavorizer were. This kit returns the WGA propane grill to the old design, and it’s awesome. One small issue: I think the corners on the flavorizer plate are supposed to sit inside the pins of the grill legs, so that the edges of the flavorizer are kept away from the sides of the grill. The fit must be off with mine, because it never quite goes down between those pins, and the flavorizer sits against one side of the grill. Might get out the pliers and see if I can fix this. (If I had a metal brake, I could bend the tent at a sharper angle, and that would fix it.) Still, quality components, and a good fix for the newer WGA.

Makes your weber portable grill brand new
I have a 25 year old weber portable grill where the grill and flavorizer were getting pretty rusty. This made it like brand new again. Definitely money well spent. Ready for another 25 years :)Note if you have a newer version of the grill with different grates and no flavorizer bars. Based on numerous reviews this should "upgrade" your new weber grill back to the old version that actually cooks pretty well.

Not 100% stainless steel.
Using a magnet its NOT full stainless steel. It is just like what came with this grill before the NEW broiler style. I prefer cooking on this setup much more and it cleans up much easier.
