Got this beard kit a day early. Stuff seems to work so far. No itching like I got from other beard softeners. Kit is well laid out and the tools(?) that come with it work well, except the strange straight razor that was included. There were no instructions on what it is used for or how to use it in the otherwise useful pamphlet/user guide. It is just listed as "beard razor". I wouldn't use it as a regular straight razor to shave with as the blade is replaceable and kinda slides around in it's holder. No seriously. it's a straight razor that has slide in blades. Kinda strange. The beard balm has a very light lemon sent. It's nice. The beard oil doesn't seem to have a sent. One thing to keep in mind is beard balm and beard oil will make your face kinda oily/greasy for a while. I leave it in for a while and then wipe off the remainder with an old rag. The beard shampoo does seem to work. The brush, comb and scissors are good quality. It comes with a carry bag but I keep it all in the box that the kit came in. I gave 4 stars because of the weird "beard razor" they could have left it out or included instructions on how it's supposed to be used.

Not a bad kit. Products are good. Not the manliest smell. Leaves a slight greasy feel but not too bad.

What the hell is this beard comb for? It's f'ng useless. I'm so tired of this cheap crap from Amazon. I just needed a decent comb and it was the only part of this kit that is useless to me. It's like one of those cheap Xmas gift sets from 5 Below. Don't bother.
