Best kept secret since non stick gauze.
The best kept secret for dressing of injuries. So, after a somewhat serious shop accident in which I partly sanded my finger away with my drum sander due to a serious, but temporary infestation of cognitive flatulence, I went to a hand specialist for advice about recovery. When he redressed my injured finger, he used this stuff... It's a godsend! No muss. No fuss. You get your injury completely enclosed and wrap some of that mesh tape and you are good to go. The problem is that the usual local pharmacies don't carry it, so you have to go to 'zon or a really good pharmacy. Watch the YouTube videos to see how easy it is.

Stretches too much
The stuff is pretty good. Reasonable packaging and price. I found that after an hour or two, the weave would loosen up making the tube shrink in length. I found I had to make it initially longer to account for this. The other brand I had (unknown as I lost the packaging) did not suffer this issue. I also found the plastic applicator from the other brand to be kinder to my mangled finger then the metal one that came with this product. The metal one works, its just cold of raw skin and stitches.I love this type of bandage. Is is clean and tidy and no tapes or winding to get just right for it to not all off.

This is super thin and stretches too much. Not returnable.
With this type bandage you do 2 and one half times finger length so you bandage, twist top and go back down. That’s fine but even doing that it’s way too thin. It also stretches out very quickly. All around not a good product. Got way better quality a CVS. You can’t return it either. I should have noticed that. My fault for not reading everything. Don’t know why it has so many five stars reviews. It’s not good at all.

exactly what i needed
i was unable to find a product like this locally, and i had crushed my middle finger so i needed this for a few weeks. this product worked just fine. i have large thick hands, and the injury made everything larger still. this product was on the small side but worked fine anyway. the included applicator was invaluable while the injury was still painful. i was entirely satisfied with my purchase; it was necessary. my particular wound did not weep much so i cannot comment on that. the useful elements were the included applicator and the size (diameter) of the knit gauze tube. i have no reservations in recommending it.

It Works!
Very convenient. I separated and and tied the ends around my hand (learned this from urgent care nurse who dressed my wound.

Perfect dressing for digits.
I was familiar with it from prior finger surgeries. I had some minor surgery on my big toe and struggled with a way to bandage it comfortably. I couldn't find it anywhere so I went on line. Note: you must have the appropriate applicator. Recommend the larger metal one seen nearby the product.

Buy one from CVS for the applicator which is nice. Buy the Surgitube for thereafter
Thank God for this product. M right index finger lost a battle with my table saw 2 months ago. After reattachment, it had to be kept clean and, hidden if you will, but at his same time, aerated to promote healing. They sell 4 feet of this stuff at CVS for $6 and change. Buy one from CVS for the applicator which is nice. Buy the Surgitube for thereafter. Use 7/8 for a man or 5/8 for a woman. I'm akmost finished with my second roll. One applied, I secure it with a self adhering stretch wrap - not tightly wound and not more than one wrap.

Very effective cover & protection for a wound on a finger.
My husband had a very large wound on his index finger from an accident with a power tool. This area was very hard to bandage and protect, however this product worked great. A non-stick telfa pad on the wound with this product covering and holding the non-stick pad then a small amount of 1/2" Coban (we liked Coban better since it doesn't leave sticky adhesive) or tape on the top to secure the tubular bandage.
