Great portable case
Needed a smaller case for special events. This works perfectly. The bottom does need space for the telescoping handle. Sturdy, well made travel case

Right for the price
Great for the price point, a little flimsy. Wouldn’t toss this one around like you could some higher dollar road cases.

Great Product but One Very Annoying Issue
Great rack and I love the drag handle and wheels as it's quite heavy when filled with equipment. One notable problem, not all the holes align with the rack mounted equipment. Make sure you have an electric drill as you'll need to widen some of the holes.

Plenty of room, sturdy and portable
I am using as a tote for event recording. Added a shelf to divide so as to accommodate an unmounted splitter snake and multi channel recorder. As well as a few xlr cables and accessories. Plenty of room, sturdy and portable.

I really wanted to like this case. But I don't.
I really wanted to like this case. I like the molded dilly-doos on top that a laptop can rest on (they are slippery, though, so maybe add some grip tape). I like that it's deep. The gear that I have inside needs some depth, so the depth is good for me. The price, of course, is great, but there's a reason it's so cheap. The plastic is way too flimsy for a case this size. If you're going with a smaller case, you can probably get away with the flimsy plastic, because odds are you won't have a great deal of equipment inside. However, fully racking this 12u (*ehem*, 11U) case is not recommended. You will not feel secure having anything of real value in this case. The handle is absolute garbage. Seriously. Don't buy this case if you're thinking you'll use the handle. You won't. It is extremely finicky and rarely extends fully. Because the handle doesn't latch, it will simply push in with any amount of forward pressure, and as mentioned above, if you have this rack full of gear, you will constantly fight the handle slipping and sliding. The handle is also mounted to the bottom of the case which means you have to tip the case onto its side before beginning to swear wildly about all of the items in your rack drawer being tossed about. The wheels are fine. But you won't use them, because you will not be able to use the handle (see above). The latches are very small for a rack this size, and they don't so much grab the mating hooks as much as they lazily sit next to the hooks. A small bonus is, once you have undone one latch, a slight jostle, or even a stiff breeze will knock the lid off the rest of the latches. Finally, the return. You will pay the freight to return it. I'm going to, because it's the principle of the thing. And, if you save any amount of money by reading this review and not purchasing this case, please feel free to throw a couple bucks my way to help cover the shipping cost.

Not the greatest. Would not buy again.
I bought this case to use as a go box for my ham radio equipment. While I've been able to make it work, I would not buy it again for the following reasons. The rack mount screw holes do not line up very well with any of the 19" racks or blank panels I bought to use with it. I had to tweak and twist the box and force the screws in at odd angles to get the screws in. The middle section of the enclosure where the handles are is indented making it impossible to get a 19" rack to fit in this section. I had to put my racks above and below this section which wasted space. On the pro side, it is a light weight case compared to others I've used, the handle and wheels make it easy to haul around. It is sturdy and should protect my radio gear well. But if I had to do it over I'd go with a different product.

Don’t trust your gear in this case, or the return policy
THE RETURN POLICY ON THE PRODUCT PAGE IS NOT ACCURATE. YOU WILL BE CHARGED TO SHIP IT BACK AND NOT REIMBURSED. Defective product, handle wouldn’t stay up, mount plates didn’t align so several screw holes were unusable. Door wouldn’t latch properly and kept falling off. You have to turn the whole rig on its side to use the wheels. The material is flimsy and easily scratched.

The rack was just perfect for my Hobby DJ needs.

This is a good quality portable case for you DJ equipment. It is rated as a 4U case, but is more like a 3.5U. I had to use some tin snips to trim the inner metal edge to make it fit 4U worth of equipment, otherwise I would have rated it 5 star

Very good unit, however the bottom slot is useless because the wheels intrude on the internal space and prevent you from inserting any equipment there which is disappointing.
