Anatomy & Physiology: an introduction for nursing and healthcare

Great for studies and relevant information without overfacing with too much detail.

This is a really excellent book for any student healthcare professional, it has as much detail you would expect and more. It has additional interesting information in the margins as side notes which add more value. It allows expansion on current knowledge. It is easy to read, easy to navigate through and very accessible for all aspects of your degree or access course. One you'll definitely want to keep on your bookshelf as I feel it has endless longevity. When students ask what books they should get before they start their course, I'll be recommending this one.

This book is exactly what the Nurse ordered!Clear , concise and condensed high yield information key to all your anatomy and physiology studies set out in a clear and simple manner.This is exactly what students need , especially when exams are around the corner and you need to pick out the core knowledge , this book does that all for you and expands on it with clear additional information boxes and links to pathophysiology at the end of each chapter to make the knowledge slots into place.

I'm a second year (adult) student nurse and I've found this book so useful for my studies! Compared to other anatomy and physiology textbooks especially, this book is so easy to read in that it explains processes in a way that make sense and makes the content less 'dry' and easier to understand. The detailed colourful diagrams also really help to make the information sink in.Overall, this book definitely makes the sometimes difficult subject of anatomy and physiology a lot easier to read about and understand whilst still containing all the information you need to know!

What a fab book! As a third year student nurse and having an intense science module to study for - I utilised this book, and truly relied on it to help me understand the basics of A&P in order to apply my specific module content in practice. Love the keys & the hints! Also love how easy it is to read! I sometimes get put off if content is too complex - this however, was written in a way that was super easy to pick up!

This is a great new book aimed at nursing and healthcare students. I particularly like the way the book begins with histology. I also like that the book has a brief contents page then a detailed contents page. Some textbooks can be uninteresting and unappealing, however, I feel this book has a good balance. Something else I liked is the content depth of this book. Some books can be too sparse or too in-depth but this is definitely spot on.

I am a student MH nurse and I gave this book 5 stars because it is an excellent A and P book for not only Nursing students but it would be good for people who study subjects such as holistic therapy or yoga teaching etc . The quality is excellent and there are great diagrams too. I liked the quick fact check boxes too .
