I am the art instructor for a community center where I teach most mediums to all ages. I happened to see these on a lighting deal and thought I would test them out for a possible quantity purchase for my programs. I have to say they are exceptional in their appearance and balance, with perfect return bounce and shaping. Each one arrived in excellent condition in a heavy protective brush case that has the impression of years of durability. This product has all the earmarks of quality. I can't imagine they will be anything but a pleasure to work with. I only hope I will be able to convince my supervisor to make the investment should the try out be successful!

I ordered these brushes on a whim to help me out with some detailed face painting for an early Halloween carnival. They arrived faster than expected. They were nicely packaged in a quality case. I used them last Saturday and they exceeded my expectations. They helped me out immensely on tricky curves in the design. I used them with a combination of Mehron paint and regular face paint. I used a little dish soap to wash them afterwards and they cleaned right up. I would recommend these brushes to anyone. They were a good buy.

I paint wall murals and needed new brushes, so I thought I'd try these because of the good reviews. I did not pay attention or must have not realized how long these handles are. I do a LOT of details close up, and I was smacking myself in the face or stabbing myself in the collar bone every time I turned around. I actually messed up quite a few times before I finally gave up trying and gave them to my daughter to play with. The brushes themselves are actually very nice quality, and are very easy to clean but these just weren't for me and what I needed them for.

Exceptional quality and beautiful brushes. I am a novice at learning how to paint using web based videos. Have been using brushes that I thought were good (based on the price) purchased at Michael's. Have used only tried 2 of the goldstar brushes there is no comparison in the quality. I wish my level of skill and expertise would do justice to these brushes. Perhaps. .someday. .... 😄The customer service also is outstanding and responsive. Received an email immediately when I ordered from the owner of the company; and, a follow up email the day after receiving the brushes.

These brushes are good...my main complaint is that the fan brush is packaged in the crease, so the brush is creased. I have washed and placed it in a book so hopefully it will go back into shape. A simple fix is to put one of the smaller ones in the crease of the brush holder so it wouldn't happen.

I have never bought myself a set of good brushes, so when I saw the sale on this product and the wonderful reviews about it, I decided to try it out!The brush set was packaged really well, every single brush was packaged individually. The product came with a roll out case which felt really smooth and of good quality. The brush handles are long and I felt really comfortable holding, doesn't feel awkward or too flimsy. You can really see the quality of the brush and how much thought GoldStar Craft had put into this product.What I liked the most about purchasing this brush set was after I received it, the owner of GoldStar Craft reached out to me personally to ask if I received the product. It really shows how much they care about their customers!

I am incredulous at the lack of reviews mentioning how poor of quality these brushes are! The ferrule--the metal part that holds the bristles to the handle--as soon as I took the brushes out of their packaging and played around with them a bit--they started wriggling independently of the handles on multiple brushes. I immediately packed them up and started a return. You won't be able to smack these around like Bob Ross does on his show!

This a nice set for the price. I've used them several times since I received them. They handle well and have a nice balance you see in more expensive brushes. I think they are best suited for acrylics and they are soft and have a harder time with oils. That said, I think they are a great set for acrylics. The carrying case is nice and cleans well as do the brushes which is a definite plus!
