I never thought I would be saying, yeah I had tacos last night...with some bomb salsa on them! ever again. Thought those days were over when I was diagnosed. It is so amazing to be able to add that into my diet again. This salsa is so good it makes me want to salsa! It has everything --it's flavorful, spicy (no heat), sweet the way tomatoes are sweet, chunky (enough to break a plantain chip with), and it just somehow tastes like salsa. I don't know how you are doing it, KC Naturals, and I can't help feel like this was a wish granted since you came out with it right after I requested it in my Amazon post about your BBQ sauce. Are you a genie? If I make a wish for season tickets to the Dodgers can you make that happen, too? You guys are awesome!

My wife recently became unable to eat nightshades and just accepted the fact she couldn't have salsa anymore. I gifted her this substitute and was blown away how much it tastes like normal salsa. It's maybe a little sweeter and there's no heat than the real deal, but this stuff scratched that itch. Hopefully the price comes down a little so we can buy this more often

So sad to say I was very disppointed in this product. I really wanted to like it, since I like their Mastadon BBQ sauce substitute. I was extremely disappointed that you have to buy two jars rather than just one.--seemed like a very expensive gamble for something I've never tasted and won't purchase again. 'The carrot flavor was so distinct and bitter and that it took over the entire flavor experience. Where were the cherries--texture and flavor? Texture was quite runny, I was planning to use as a substitute for Mexican red sauce and a chip dip. Overall, left me with indigestion adn an empty wallet. I'm going to stick to mashed avocadoes with my Siete tortilla chips. Just cannot recommend this product.

This is seriously so good. I wish it wasn't so expensive because I can easily eat a half jar at a time LOL! BUT, since I can't eat tomatoes, it is worth the price to me to be able to enjoy my favorite snack...chips & SALSA!

I am on an AIP diet. I miss tomatoes terribly. This has a great taste & I use it on my black bean burgers. KC Natural has some very good products. I also use their carrot marinara which is great too. Also, mastadon (sp) sauce for bean burgers.

I have become allergic to tomatoes a couple of years ago. So glad to be able to put salsa on my quesadillas and tacos again.

I would normally choose a "hot" (or "medium") salsa. The lack of capsaicin in this one is certainly apparent, but the flavor is otherwise quite an impressive substitute for tomato-based salsa.
