Great for filtering Homebrew beer during bottling
I did not have a grain bag when I made my first batch of beer and 17 years, so I just decided to boil it anyway and spoon out most of the grain before dumping the hot mixture into the fermenter. I did not get out as much of the grain as I thought and ended up with trub (sediment) that completely covered the inlet to the pour spout. On bottling day, the ready to bottle brew tasted pretty good, albeit full of trub! That's what I ordered this strainer. And when it came in the next day, it worked wonderfully! Even though I shall henceforth be using a stainless steel grain holder during boiling of the wort, I shall continue to use this filter during bottling.

It fits even these small bottles just not all the way inside
Very effective filter and it comes with the center large particle filter and the fine filter. The funnel has the anti bubbling air hole as well. The price was reasonable too I recommend this!

Can't insert spout - but mesh works great
*update* The company reached out to me as it seems I received a broken product and they are sending a replacement one.Original review:This product came with the spout separate from the larger funnel piece and no way to attach it, as the dimensions won't allow it. However, I was able to successfully filter my chicken broth into mason jars without the spout piece, and the mesh worked great for filtering out all the tiny bits. Just wish I had the spout for when I need it for smaller jar pours.

Exactly what I needed
I wanted a stainless steel funnel to use for straining home made iced tea. Because I use loose tea and fresh squeezed lemon, I always need to strain the tea as I pour it into the pitcher. I used to use a plastic funnel with a separate stainless steel strainer, and it was a pain. The strainer fell off the funnel and the funnel was constantly stained with tea. This setup works great. The strainer fits securely into the funnel and the funnel sits securely on the mouth of the pitcher. Absolutely zero tea leaves or lemon pits/pulp make it into the pitcher. As a bonus, it works great for straining cooking oil as well. I hadn't thought about using it for that purpose, since I rarely deep fry, but I made a huge batch of spring rolls and had to strain the oil. It worked out better than any other combination of funnels and strainers I ever used. The resulting oil looks almost unused. There's a little brush included for cleaning the funnel and the strainer is surprisingly easy to de-grease with a little bit of dawn detergent. I am extremely pleased with this funnel/strainer.

Not good for fryer oil
Bought this to strain grease from a deep fryer. Not good. I guess it is meant more for juices?
