Excellent product

Worked really well. I've used it to straight the drippings/broth from slow-cooked meat to make gravy or au jus with The white filter does plug up and you will need to discard what you strained off and rinse it off a few times. For au jus you may want to use a finer filter after filtering off the larger pieces. I recommend handwashing the white plastic filter but the metal part is dishwasher safe. The metal strainer can be removed just be easy with it.

*update* The company reached out to me as it seems I received a broken product and they are sending a replacement one.Original review:This product came with the spout separate from the larger funnel piece and no way to attach it, as the dimensions won't allow it. However, I was able to successfully filter my chicken broth into mason jars without the spout piece, and the mesh worked great for filtering out all the tiny bits. Just wish I had the spout for when I need it for smaller jar pours.

Allowed me to filter tallow before storage. Good product and easy to clean. The hangers have great adhesion

I did not have a grain bag when I made my first batch of beer and 17 years, so I just decided to boil it anyway and spoon out most of the grain before dumping the hot mixture into the fermenter. I did not get out as much of the grain as I thought and ended up with trub (sediment) that completely covered the inlet to the pour spout. On bottling day, the ready to bottle brew tasted pretty good, albeit full of trub! That's what I ordered this strainer. And when it came in the next day, it worked wonderfully! Even though I shall henceforth be using a stainless steel grain holder during boiling of the wort, I shall continue to use this filter during bottling.

Works

Works as it should. Used it to filter my frying oil back into its original container. Easily cleaned up. Lets you reuse your oil several times.
