We discovered Weleda Calendula toothpaste while traveling in Europe and were happy to discover we could purchase it on Amazon. The fresh fennel flavor makes this our favorite toothpaste before a meal. The mint flavors of most United States toothpastes can linger and spoil the taste of a good dinner or drink. Weleda Calendula does not interfere at all. While this toothpaste doesn't foam as much as most US commercial brands, teeth always feel fully clean and refreshed. Note that there are no fluorides, which may or may not be a good thing for some buyers. There are also no sugars, sulfates or artificial flavors.

My preferred brand of Weleda toothpaste is no longer available. This is just fine. Tastes fine. Does the job. No extra crap in the tube...

Love the taste and cleans my teeth well. Reason for 4 stars is you need alot more tooth paste to be able to brush all your teeth.

I have had several unsuccessful cavitation surgeries. (Infections in jaw bone). I have Lyme disease and several automimme illnesses. Therefore, I know now I don’t heal well from surgery. I subsequently have been left with oral ulcers where the surgeries were. But that’s another whole issue. My point is while I try to get my immune system to to work better I need an extremely gentle toothpaste that would not hurt or burn my ulcers. Mint is way too harsh. And while the fruit flavored toothpastes were fine it wasn’t until I found this one and was AMAZED! It actually soothes my oral ulcers. I find myself thinking about this toothpaste during the day when I am flaring up. 😂I recently have started leaving a bit of the paste on my sores after I brush my teeth and makes them feel SO much better! I suspect it’s the myrrh and calendula which are anti-inflammatory. I will never stop using this!! And since I’ve been using it, my teeth themselves have never been better. I recently went to the dentist after 4 years because of the pain I’m in. But they were astonished. No plaque, cavities, gum recession. It took 10 min for a cleaning. So while I need to get to the root of my oral ulcers, I am so thankful this toothpaste instead hurting, actually helps. LOVE all Weleda too. Skin Food is the best cream ever!

It was a nice idea, going "natural", but this toothpaste hasn't even been officially approved yet like their salt toothpaste has... so don't be surprised when you get this & it doesn't work. If your teeth feel any cleaner after you brush with this, it's only because you're brushing twice as long with an exorbitant amount of toothpaste to make up for the fact it has very little grit to actually clean your teeth with.Pros:-flavor was decent & didn't burn my mouthCons:- didn't clean my teeth well. Twice daily I brushed for 5 minutes, reapplying the toothpaste 4x to my brush, and I still was left with tartar. I didn't see any staining, but tartar was definitely forming, which never happened prior to this when I was using Sensodyne.- my gums started to react to this stuff after a month of using it twice a day. Little red bumps formed on my gumline, and I started getting a rash on my face immediately after use. I stopped using it, went back on Sensodyne, & my symptoms cleared up.The lesson here is that with any new product, you should slowly ease into using it instead of bombarding your system with chemicals your body isn't used to. I'm not sure which weird ingredient caused the reaction, but I'm sure it didn't help how many times I brushed or the duration (which was ridiculous since the toothpaste didn't do much at all to clean). So for your own health, brush once a day with this stuff until your body builds up to using it twice (or three times a day).I've since moved on to Jason's Sea Fresh paste, and I like it much more- it actually makes my teeth feel clean! I don't like its taste as much, but I rather it than having to get a deep cleaning for the tartar buildup the Weleda Plant Paste left... and if that doesn't work out, there's always Sensodyne.

No me gusto. No sientes que limpie en realidad, apenas toca la boca se desbarata por completo literal se hace agua. He probado otras pastas dentales orgánicas y sin químicos dañinos geniales y tenía grandes expectativas. Me decepciono por completo. Me la acabaré solo porque no me gusta desperdiciar pero NO LO RECOMIENDO.

Die Zahncreme schmeckt sehr gut nach Pfefferminze und hinterlässt ein langes Gefühl der Frische im Mund und scheinen die Zähne auch sehr gut zu reinigen. Und sie ist fluoridfrei!
