Great salt lick- strong rope

The size of the salt licks is ideal for my needs. I bury it in the ground near where I spread corn and other goodies for the deer and other wildlife living in the woods behind my house. Because of its size I t’s easy for me to carry to the remote locations where the feed sites are.

Easy to hang my horses really enjoy them

The horses gravitate to these salt licks when I hang them in between crabs they can be shared.Until I hear otherwise I think this is good for them.

I have to agree with some other reviewers on this. The rope that these come with is thin so if you have a thicker sturdy rope to replace it with do so and it will hold up better. I know that one of the things to write was longevity, and I had to give that one to five although they seem to disappear in like a week or a week and a half. But that's a good thing, my horse loves the Himalayan salt licks. He does not approve of regular salt blocks. This however, meets his approval.

The deer LOVE this....have it hanging off my feeder in the back and there are no less than 10 deer every morning coming in for the "buffet breakfast" and salt lick!

Hung one up on my horse’s stall to keep him busy and drinking water! Great size and good quality for the price — best deal I could find.
