Minelab Gold Monster 1000 Universal Metal Detector with 2 Search Coils, Waterproof

This is my second "Nice" metal detector and by far the best one I have. Works very well and detects very small objects. I have not found any gold with it yet but I did test it with some very small gold samples. Works amazingly well.

Great product and great customer support

Wanted to save a few bucks so I bought it used, and this thing came brand new! It was an open box but never seen dirt! Great deal! Super sensitive! One of the best nugget shooters for sure, been testing on a tiny chunk of gold, need tweezers to pick it up and it hammers it!

I researched this product as a beginner and saw the minelab videos as well. They advertise the device for beginners, but you soon learn the metal detector is not accurate for detecting just gold. You must have more expert knowledge on reading the gauge. It is not a "that's gold" or "thats junk or iron" device. Its praises are very over hyped. I used it twice to help search for placer gold in my pans, but a lesser device for way less money does the same thing. Not happy at all.

I never had a metal detector so I did a lot of research. I asked Jeff Williams who is a gold miner and geologists with his own gold mining YouTube. Works awesome. I easily found gold in my first try. Do not buy cheap metal doctors. Thank you Jeff Williams for recommending Mind Lab. Best buy I ever did. No ground balancing just turn it on and you will easily find gold!!!
