can put a radius in granite and polish it to perfection
I used it dry and wet with a polishing tool, made great corners on my recycled granite countertops easier than I thought. perfect for what I needed, seems like they will last well.

Great pads.
Been using these pads on a side grinder to refinish some marble counter tops that were etched. I've only done about 5 square feet but so far they work well and seem like they have a fair amount of life to them. They only thing I've noticed is that the hook and loop fastener is coming loose on the rubber backer. Was able to reglue it so no big deal.

Marble mosaic polishing
Used to grind down marble mosaics to a silky, smooth flat surface. Worked perfectly. They held onto the grinder unlike other brands that flew off and were dangerous. I highly recommend this product.

Work great
Used them to polish marble cut ends and worked great. Make sure you have a variable speed grinder. I used my car polishing tool and they were fast and still look new after polishing 50 ends on 4x12 marble tiles

Only ones I use now
I have tried several types of diamond pads. Both dry and wet. I use them to grind/polish concrete planting pots. The pots are about 43" wide by 22" tall. They are round so very hard to grind/polish and take many hours. I use all the way from 50 grid to 3000 grid. Once I get past 400 grid the shine starts. By the time I get to 3000 they look very nice. I think the flexibility of them makes a big difference They are the only ones I use now..

Lower grit pads aren’t the greatest, wear thin, low surface contact.
When you polish any type of engineered or natural stone, the lowest grit, is one of the most important, if scratches aren’t removed , they will remain until the end. Due to scratch locations, or if you are dressing a seam up, or cleaning up after an edge profile has been sculpted, deeper scratched are going to be there. You will have to shift your pad to work them out. Think of what the imprint would look like if a man m stuck his chest to a window, now do the same for the ladies. The imprint left behind by the woman, would have areas made contact much sooner in some of the areas, causing the areas that aren’t rounded, to wear out quicker. If you have a flat surface, chances are a pad able to make constant contact, would be better. Take that with a grain of salt, this is coming from someone who polished every day.Factors to consider:The type of project (Touch up, new countertops, polish an existing counter or floor), the size of the area, what type of material are you polishing, and water run off.* Wet/Dry- Water helps the pad plow over the surface easier, it cleans the surface area, controls harmful dust, and I will add longevity to this item.** Aluminum backing pad great for concrete, and terrazzo floors, areas that are not subject to breaking.
