2023 UPDATE: Nice looking - warm - space saving
2023 UPDATE (3 yrs after purchase). I’m still using this heater, and it’s still working fine. I’ve read other reviews that had bad experiences with this product. Maybe mine has worked so long since I only use it on the lowest setting. I still give it 5 stars. It’s been perfect for my needs.UPDATED New Review: I originally gave this 5 stars at first, and it still remains 5 stars after a month of use. This has been the best purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve only used the heater once outside so far (was satisfied) but I can’t comment too well on that part until I use it more outdoors. But using it inside has been amazing.I live in a old house with tall ceilings (not insulated). I usually have my furnace running most of the time during winter and the heat doesn’t stay inside very long. Since I started using this space heater I have been toasty, and at times I’ve even had to turn it off because it got too warm. I’ve only used it at the lowest setting which is 500 Watts (good for one person) - I’m happy about this because I don’t have to worry about blowing a circuit (old house). I keep it about 3 to 4 feet feet from where I’m sitting. It might be different if you’re trying to heat several people at one time (maybe use higher setting). But it’s obvious to me how much warmer a room is when I have this on for awhile. It puts out good heat.Since I’ve been working at home, having heat next to me has been nice. I turn this heater towards my desk, towards the dining room, towards my chair in the living room. I am not cold at all!My utility bill (gas and electric) has not gone up at all this month. Usually my heating bill in the winter is considerably higher (last month is was even a bit lower). The space heater is saving me in many ways. The only downside of the space heater is when you have it turned off with the remote it blinks a red light nonstop at the top of the unit. If it was a solid red light that does not blink it would be less irritating. I realize the red light is there to indicate the unit is still powered, but the blinking is an irritant. I hope in the future they can re-design this unit with a solid red light. If and when that ever happens I’ll be buying an additional unit to put in my bedroom. It’s heating me right now while I write this. Can’t get over how a heater that does not have a fan can keep me so warm.

Great Little Heater!
This definitely isn't meant to heat an entire room - when the heat went out in my apartment for a day, I ran it in my living room, and while it definitely took the bite out of the cold air. If you walked away from it, you were cold. It's perfect for office/personal use. For the price, it's a great deal! It works great (no issues so far). Has a good safety mechanism that won't let the heater run unless it's on a flat/stable surface (there's a pressure button om the bottom), and the cord is long enough for the range of heat. This is just what I was looking for. I sit directly under an AC vent at my office and no amount of pleading with our building people will convince them to turn it down. This thing is small and discrete, not very loud, and heats up my desk area nicely. I like the safety feature it has so if you tip it or turn it on its side, it turns off. This heater keeps me warm and toasty. It's definitely worth the bucks and it's super cute!

Garbage. Only worked one year.
It only worked one year. DO not buy this piece of landfill. It worked okay the first year, although I do think it takes a lot of electricity. I stored it, covered so it would not get dusty. Opened it up. It worked MAYBE 2 hours and then crapped out. Would turn back on, but not create any heat. Do not buy this, it is crap.

The reviews aren't kidding!
This heater is way quieter than I expected for something in this price range. Occasionally I'll hear a click when it engages & disengages, and the blower fan is quiet with only a low hum from the motor. No rattles or vibrations (other than the 60hz induction in the motor).Feels solid enough, has the safety switch, etc. It keeps this 200 sf space at a reasonably steady temperature and despite its size, this heater warms up fast and blows hot in a hurry. I'm guessing because of the cowling, warm air is projected straight out in a horizontal column about 3 or 4 feet before it disperses, so not only can it spot heat, it does a pretty good job at moving heat around. Seems to be inspired by hair dryer airflow. Because of this, the sides and back of the heater never get even remotely hot (although right in front could bake a potato so be careful).One-half star was lost because of some inconsistency and poor grammar in the literature that raised suspicion about the suppliers grasp on the English language.Thankfully the actual quality doesn't suffer as some super hot deals from China turn out to be too good to be true.Another one-half star is lost because the manual tells us that when it's time to shut it off, run it on the 'cool air' mode for several seconds before turning it to 'off'. This, I understand will cool the heating coils by blowing off any residual heat. Fantastic. Makes sense from an efficiency and longevity standpoint. NOW, why doesn't the fan run a few seconds after the room gets up to temperature and the heat clicks off? Also, why do I have to turn the thermostat up to make the cool air mode work? Put the fan motor on a thermal timer relay and this thing would be quite perfect.

Only last a year and a half
This product was really nice. The heat output was great. However, it only lasted a year and a half before it totally died. It was on for 5 minutes and just completely shut off and wouldn’t turn back on.
