I went from a separate desktop computer at home and a laptop for away, to just using the laptop as a one computer solution for ease of continuity. This meant I had to get a monitor for my home office so I can use the laptop (a MacBook) as essentially a desktop computer. I went with this one for its size, quality and eye-safety features. I am happy with the choice. I have it mounted to my desk with an arm stand thingy so I cannot comment on the stand it comes with. But the monitor is great. Quick to start up once connected to my computer. I have not tried to adjust any of the settings (maybe I should), so I cannot comment on the ease of use there.

These 27 inch monitors are cost effective and have beautiful displays that are easy on the eyes. Employees like this model because of the versatility of movement as well. The monitors can tilt, be moved 90 degrees to a vertical position, and can move up and down in height as well.This is also cost effective because it keeps our company from having to buy monitor risers. They also come with a 3 year warranty from ASUS.I will continue to buy these in the future.

Like: very sturdy, picture is great. My original problem was that I had the HDMI cable plugged into the computer but just not far enough. Having had many computers since 1978 and have built several, I am more that a bit mortified with this stupid mistake. I definitely recommend this monitor.[Dislike: Would not work with new Dell desktop computer. Had to tear packaging completely to bits (laborious) to get the monitor and accompanying items out. Hated the underside buttons to control the monitor, but most monitors use the same technique.FYI: I'm an 80 year old retired software engineer (Boeing & USAF) I have in the past built my own computers for home use, and I still have two that I use daily -- just so you know I'm not a complete idiot.]

Returned my first purchase, Samsung, which did not work. This one did, immediately. It's bright, clear, non-flickering, and a pleasure to use. It has two USB ports at the back, which I am hoping to use for my keyboard and mouse, but they didn't work when I first hooked up the monitor. The manual was of almost NO help in this. Called ASUS, and was told they should work, but mine have not. I'm thinking they have to be set up with the buttons, but have not had time to play with this, because I have a new computer and a new DVD Drive, and .... :( Anyway, I'm happy with this monitor. My other one got dark all of a sudden and I lost the brightness controls on my old computer, and the monitor started going black. There's a fix for this on YouTube, but my old ViewSonic monitor didn't take the fix. The ASUS has two speakers, but I did not receive a cable for them, have to look into this as well. I would subtract a star for all the things I outlined, but after my old monitor & computer troubles, I'm happy to have a setup that WORKS. :)

Needed this monitor so I could have a 3rd screen for my work from home job. Set up was easy peasy. Has great color and resolution. Absolutely love this monitor.

I bought this monitor on sale, and it was way bigger than I expected. It has a crisp picture and is perfect for what I wanted to use it for. It easily rotated for landscape or vertical view, which is great for coding. For the price you can’t go wrong with this monitor.

I bought this for work, not to game on, so I can only soak to the quality of this being a vertical setup monitor for work. I wanted something that could rotate beefcake and allow me more real estate for work, and so far this is delivering beautifully. Out of the box there is some assembly (connect the stand to the monitor and then the base to the stand) but it came with the necessary tool (basic Phillips head screwdriver) to get this together in about 5 minutes. Plugged in and it was ready to go. I did have to Google how to get the screen to display vertically since I've never had a vertical monitor but it's a simple config on my laptop's display setting. My wife loves it so much, she just ordered a second one for herself.

Sound is the only disappointment.. Too low volume. Granted it's in my cubicle and I have 3 identical monitors all are using display port cable. I usually don't need volume except when trying to watch a video of something with other people watching as well.. Headset works for just me most of the time.. Just invest is a simple USB speaker and all good
