These little packs of dried cherries are quite delicious! I put them in my overnight, oats, and my morning they’re plump and juicy!

I had bought these in lunch bag sized individual packages. I really liked them, so I bought the much bigger bag (which does not have individual “snack” bags). They taste the same - delicious. The only drawback in the bulk bag is that there is a slight smell from the canola oil used to keep them plump and juicy, but you couldn’t taste it, so no problem with eating them.

I spent $24 on these cherries. The cherries were soft and tasted like they would probably be delicious...IF, that is, they didn't contain rancid oil! The product contains sunflower oil, and that is presumably where the strong rancid flavor is coming from. The product expiration date was 8/13/2024 (batch 230132), while today is 3/18/2024, so despite having 5 more months before expiration, the product has gone bad. Perhaps the oil was old to begin with, or inadequately stabilized with antioxidants. In any case, we can't eat them, and Amazon says this item is not eligible for returns. I'm not pleased!EDIT: When you click on the item in your order history and try to return it it says it cannot be returned. However, I found that if you go to the separate customer service menu on Amazon and then work the problem that way, entering your order number, and saying damaged or defective product, Amazon will promptly issue a credit for the product. So I did receive a credit in the end.

Not a sweet cherry. Getting used to it.

Very tasty snack. Portion is small, but very fresh, rich flavor. Unfortunately I did not check the expiration date. I received product end of May. Exp dates were for October. That's only 4 month shelf life. I tried them just now, in Nov, and they smell rancid. I needed longer shelf life but did not look until now. Previously purchased though and tried when fresh, they are a quality product!!

These are delicious! They're soft and chewy and maintain all the flavor of fresh cherries. The bag keeps them fresh. I keep them on hand all the time for a quick snack or to add to cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, or baked goods.

I heard a program on National Public Radio, in December 2022, extolling the virtues of tart dried cherries for nutrients and antioxidants. I ordered this and two other brands. One brand - meh - had sugar added. It's not a lot, but it was enough to make the difference, so I won't be ordering it again. Then, I tried THIS brand. I like that they come in single serve packets, great for lunches. BUT, they have sunflower oil added, and that left an oily residue, which to me is very unpleasant. Also, they added fruit juice concentrate for sweetening. I wanted TART, not sweet. Also the price is high considering you only get 5 packets!I guess third time is the charm, I found a brand that is NOT oily and has NO sugar added. So I've permanently switched to the third brand.
