I got this pedal kit because I really just wanted a dead pedal. The included pedals look nice, but I think I'll share some installation hints.Going from right to left, the gas pedal is easy: it just slips over the existing gas pedal.The brake pedal is a bit trickier. Getting the existing pedal off requires a firm grip, but I didn't need tools. I learned that putting the new one on is made easier by warming the pedal up a bit to make it more pliable (carry it in your pocket for a few minutes before going to install it). Next, starting at the top right pull the cover over the brake pedal. The bottom left is going to be tight. I used a tongue depressor that I lightly coated with Vaseline to ease the last bit of the cover over the pedal. I used a razor to trim the tabs off the brake pedal.The dead pedal attachment seems to be a problem for the manufacturer and purchasers. A number of reviews mentioned that the adhesive wasn't very good, some mentioned that the manufacturer provided Velcro strips. Mine came with thin adhesive strips that I felt wouldn't last, so I attached Scotch Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape strips onto the back (I've included photos). In retrospect, I should have run the tape lengthwise rather than widthwise, but the dead pedal is firmly in place after a little over 1000 miles, and after snow/rain/slop. The gas and, more importantly, brake pedal are fine, even with wet shoes and slippery conditions.Overall a good product, but the manufacturer should really work on a better mounting method for the dead pedal.

The media could not be loaded.  Install was easy enough and product felt like good quality. For the dead pedal I followed other reviewers and bought some Scotch Extreme Hold Double Sided Mounting Tape to add some extra adhesion than what it comes with. Pedals came out looking great. 👍🏼

Yes the other reviews are correct about the brake pedal taking some effort and you absolutely need to buy Velcro dots if applying the dead pedal on carpet but the time and energy is worth it. They look absolutely amazing and really added to the looks of my vehicle. They are on sturdy and solid and worked well with my wet shoes from the rain. A great value in my opinion.

Nice Farkle for my CX-5. The accelerator pedal cover goes on in a snap. The brake pedal cover is a full on replacement and is a little tougher. Do that on a warm day or warm it well with a hair dryer. The dead pedal looks awesome but, the adhesive strips are junk. I used 2 inch wide velcro style to mount it and that works much better.

The brake pedal is a bit of a struggle to get on. The top (if I remember correctly) and the left side have tabs that assist with the installation, if the right side had one as well it would be so much easier to install. The gas pedal wasn’t difficult but doesn’t feel nearly as secure. I flopped my foot around in knee jerk reaction movements in attempt to dislodge or knock them off… They both stayed in place so I feel like they will be ok. Time will be the ultimate test.The foot rest is only secured with double sided adhesive sticking it to the carpet. Not sure how long it will hold, once again time shall tell.

I used a hair dryer for the break pedal to make it easier to mold on the existing break pedal. Gas was simple as sliding it on. I did not use the dead pedal as my floor mat covered it.

I was happy that this product exceeded my expectations. Well built and looks good. No compromise of grip on the foot. I did use heavy duty Velcro on the dead pedal, so I can remove and vacuum under it when cleaning. Stays out just fine with the Velcro. Happy that the carpet is covered over the footrest, as this seems truly needed and an oversight in the design. Break pad is a little difficult to get on, but I believe I was successful, so no big deal.
