Got this as a gift and thought yeh that looks nice. Then noted the end is bent. So I thought right let's contact the company. Originally I head nothing. But they have since contacted me and hence this amended review. They asked for photos of the damage. Which I sent. And they sent me a new one and it's even arrived intone for Xmas so I am altering this review and I'm now happy to use and recommend this company for others. But I suggest using the messaging system on here not the website that it directs you to as on here is where I got my replys.

I really like this knife. It's big, the pictures don't convey well how much bigger and heftier it is than a normal 8 inch knife but it's well weighted and sharp so is still delightful to use and manage. Haven't had it for long enough to comment on the sturdiness but it does feel well built. Would recommend if you have priorly handled large knives otherwise it may be a bit much.

I have been looking for a great alround knife for all my barbecue preparation of all different types of meat and I must say,this knife is a cracker.Glides through any thickness of meat with ease. Well worth the money. Be very careful though,it's razor sharp.

When ordering knives the length is the blade length - not the length including handle. Purchased a 10 inch knife and it is big. Nicely packaged but not as sharp as I thought it would be

Für den Preis ist das Messer absolut akzeptabel es ist sehr groß man kann damit gut arbeiten,es ist sehr sehr scharf und das Messer selber hat ein geringes Gewicht. Was etwas verbesserungswürdig wäre ist der Griff der könnte etwas massiver sein da er relativ dünn und grazil ist für die Größe des Messers , und die Nieten am Griff sind nicht ganz sauber verarbeitet da sie ca. einen halben Millimeter herausstehen und leicht scharfkantig sind . Allerdings kann man um diesen Preis nicht alles haben was man sich wünscht aber dennoch ist das Messer akzeptabel und wie schnell es sich beim Schärfen abnutzt wird sich in einigen Wochen bis Monaten zeigen , da ich das Messer beruflich nutze muss ich es auch relativ oft schärfen und dann wird sich zeigen ob viel Material in kurzer Zeit verloren geht.

Super scharfes Koch chef messer! Schärfe und Optik überzeugen! Mit hanschutz der nicht zu verachten ist bei der Schärfe gerade bei Kräuter schneiden fast Pflicht! Tolles Messer des für fast alle Lebensmittel geeignet ist, außer zum filitieren weil Klinge nicht nachgibt!

nichts für anspruchsvolle benutzer . schärfe hält nicht allzu lange . messer ist etwas leicht und nicht sehr stabil . für den haushalt eher ein wenig zu gross . aber man bekommt wofür man bezahlt....
