Nice holiday decoration
I saw that my mother had one of these, and it looked nice. What I like is that it can be plugged in and stay on. It does have a battery feature too. I actually have this on the same remote control as my tree so on the shelf above my fireplace when I turn on the tree this turns on and lights up as well. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this but you do need to provide your own power adapter. It has a USB cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet so you use the same kind that you do for a typical phone. Plug the USB into the small plug adapter and now it's electric instead of batteries.

Sturdy, beautiful and you don't have to have the music on. The music has one volume.

unique snow globe
Got this for my daughter for Christmas as she always wants a snow globe. This one is really fancy. Has lights and music very colorful. It could be a gift for anyone. The one thing I didn't expect is how heavy it is. It is very sturdy, but heavy for a kid to carry around.
