Spektrum AR630 6 Channel AS3X Safe Receiver, SPMAR630, Black Medium

The AR630 Spektrum receiver works exactly as advertised. It is a great receiver.

This receiver worked just as described out of the box. I like the antennaless design as it makes it easy to install in just about any model. The range is a lot more than I expected. There is a learning curve that needs to be followed to set this receiver up but it's not hard to follow. There are plenty of YouTube videos to follow and learn the process. I'd recommend it to all beginners and up seeking both AS3X and SAFE technology when flying Radio Controlled model airplanes.

The programmability. I dislike having to go through everything. To programming some functions aren't even mentioned in the instructions. I discovered them by watching YouTube. Once it is programmed, it is a great working receiver and you can do so much with it. My major problem was getting AS3X to work. I still haven't gotten bad down. Turn it to a s three x it acts like safe but without the elevator. If somebody has an idea, I would greatly appreciate. It is a great receiver and programs nicely if you can discover all the features.

Been using ar620’s bought these to add a3x stabilization to a couple of squirrely fan jets! Works great no problems!

I purchased a LemonRX stabPlus receiver to put into my trainer plane. It was easy to setup, but did not actually work.I broke down and purchased the real deal Spektrum SAFE receiver. It took me about an hour to understand and setup the receiver in the plan to have Beginner, Intermediate, Advance modes but it all worked on the first go.It is worth buying the real deal.

Great product, for use in almost any plane or jet!

I guess it's good, I didn't know it will only work with a spectrum transmitter. A cheap spectrum transmitter is $350-$400, someday I probably will get one IF I quit crashing planes and building stock of different toys.

I like the color on the screen. It does alot of stuff.
