THis product works the way any sound or recording engineer would expect--probably better than most of the other foams I saw offered on Amazon, being that is is 2" deep rather than only 1" Those people not familiar with the use and application of such materials should realise that the 2" is measured from the tip of the peaks to the bottom of the sheet; it is not a uniform 2" all over.I bought this foam to help make a small vocal booth and the foam stops the echo and reverberation of the surrounding hard surfaces quite well. I gave the product three stars because their claims of "soundproofing" are utterly ridiculous. This kind of material does not block sound it mainly diperses it, which is how it eliminates reflections. It is a useful part of a sound control structure, but does not do the entire job on its own. The price is fair. delivery was prompt.
