These work like a charm for me. Not a single bit of onion juice or mist gets into my eyes. The glasses fit snugly but thanks to soft foamy lining they are also comfortable. No more stinging eyes. No more flowing tears. No more blurred vision.I use these nearly every single day because we don't eat out that often and I prepare most of our meals (by choice because I like cooking). So these glasses, which I feared might be just another gimmick, have made my meal prep so much easier. I tried scuba diving glasses once before but they felt uncomfortable and bulky. The RSVP Onion Goggles are so much better.Here's the only possible issue, hopefully an uncommon one - they don't seem to work for some people. A friend who is petite can't get them to work on her face.The glasses still leave some space around her eyes. Her eyes still sting. So I guess there is a small risk that these might not work for you.Looking at the other reviews, though, I can see that I'm one of many who feels this product merits a 5 star review .The goggles don't look especially snazzy. I need to remember to remove them if the doorbell rings and I'm getting ready to open the door. My son laughs when he sees me wearing them. But they do the job - and they do it very, very well.

I thought my husband was joking when he said he was going to buy these for me. He proved to me that they were a real item but I was way too skeptical to order them. I had them on my "buy later" list here at Amazon for months. And for months I cried & sweated & blinked my way into submission. I finally broke down & ordered them.Not only do I love the color, but I love the design! They are not "goggles" in the sense of a thick, rubber strap wrapped around your head, leaving an indentation in your freshly coifed hair. They go on just like a pair of sunglasses which can be done with one hand after I've started cutting & then realize I forgot to put them on. The storage case isn't a cheap piece of plastic that has to be chainsawed open. It's a handy, semi-pliable plastic that fits easily in the small drawer of measuring spoons right below my prep area. It has a magnetized "button" that can be released with one hand & allows removal of the goggles without picking up the case. I've tried every suggestion I've ever heard to keep from tearing up when slicing onion & nothing has ever been foolproof until this product. The lenses are lined with a generous amount of foam padding that allows the goggles to fit snugly to a variety of facial structures without discomfort. They are so comfortable that I've even worn them for extended periods without realizing it. The biggest test for me was a recipe that requires grating an entire onion. Usually I would cry until dinner was made just from having that grated onion sitting there waiting to be added. My husband has been in another room & commenting on how strong the onion is but I've been happy & clear-eyed the whole time with the onion goggles. The most surprising part of using these was that I was able to breathe through my nose while working with onions. I've taken deep enough breaths with the goggles to burn the inside of my nose & my throat but not even an itch in my eye. This item is something no kitchen should be without. Forget saving your eye makeup & saving time not having to fan your face or run out the back door to get fresh air. Being able to have clear vision while using a sharp knife is the only reason you need to click, "Buy Now".

Unfortunately, the Covid numbers got worse in NC so we did not go. We never opened the box or tried them on and assumed the products were reputable. Fast forward we are heading to NC this month and have made preparations to be as safely geared up as possible. As such, we tried on one pair of the googles with our new face shields only to discover that they DO NOT FIT / WORK. There are large gaps on the side and underneath the eye and the goggles do not sit on top of flat nose bridges. Bottom line, these are designed for narrow faces and nose bridges. These leaves out most of the world whose faces are wider with broader nose bridges. I have no qualms with how you design your products but believe strongly you should be forthcoming that the goggles do not fit ALL FACE TYPES. These glasses would not have offered any protection on the airplane or elsewhere, let alone while peeling onions. We missed our window for a refund but I felt compelled to write to you out of frustration for your lack of foresight and inclusion in your design. I ask that you clearly label the fit of your product so consumers are informed. Had we not tried on the one pair we would have not known it offered our eyes no protection whatsoever before our trip.

These fit me almost perfect, but well enough they work great! My son tried them on and he had more of a gap so may not do as well protecting his eyes.No more tears! I could smell the onions as I was cutting them and wondered if they weren’t as strong, but didn’t want to take off the glasses to test haha!Comfortable to wear.

Ever since I had cateract surgery and stopped wearing contact lens, cutting onions has been extremely painful. I saw these glasses and thought they might help. And they did. I still experience some effects from cutting onions, but it is no longer painful. I do think they are too pricey, but I am still glad I got them.

These things are amazing. Funny looking, but work great. I use them 3-4x a week when dealing with onions. Very comfortable.

je les ai achetées pour protéger mes yeux du vent et de la poussière quand je sors parce que j'ai subi une opération ...ils sont parfaits pour ça! petit bémol: il y a de la buée qui se forme à l'intérieur...normal tout de même puisque c'est bien fermé!...on a un peu l'air de batman quand même!!

I have tried a few different brands of onion goggles and these ones are by far my favorite. No crying when I cut onions!

Parfait pour ne pas pleurer lorsqu'on épluche des oignons. c'est la deuxième paire que nous achetons tellement nous en sommes content.

I read the reviews that said these fit small, but thought I’d take a chance.Unfortunately, they actually didn’t fit snug enough to work.I returned them and now use my swim goggles which work better.
