After recent back injury I was told to avoid bending forward by my Dr & PT. Easier said than done. Saw these bands and decided to try. These are wonderful and look neat. Purchased gray and a white set. Then back for another white. Slide foot into shoe. I do need to straighten out tongue but that’s minor. Very pleased. Nice variety of sizes included in each packet to select best fit for shoe. First few bands were hard to put in but then you find your rhythm and move along swiftly. Worth the effort. They do not pull out when walking.

So yeah, I've let my youngest son be a little lazy about the whole shoe-tying thing; most of his shoes have been velcro or slip-on (or they've ended up that way because he rigged the laces to slip on/off).When it was time to get him new every-day shoes this time though, he wanted Heelys. They're not cheap and they're not easy to find, so I didn't want them run down with ratty, shredded laces. Also it could be dangerous since he'd likely end up rolling over them.Enter the search for no-tie laces! I'd tried a couple of types when my boys were younger, but never found any that worked very well. The ones with the spring-loaded clasps were a total fail, and the ones that are round, bouncy elastic cables didn't keep their shoes on.These were obviously different, but I didn't realize HOW different until they arrived. I'd expected them to be made of a strong elastic fabric, and instead they're almost like thick stretchy plastic. But it's STRONG, whatever it is! I like the fact that there will be no threads hanging off the sides as they're worn longer, and that they look as nice now (after several weeks of running/skating through mud & puddles) as they did new. Just wipe them with a damp cloth and that's that.I found installation to be extremely easy. Sure there's some resistance when pulling them through the holes, but if they slipped through easily, they'd never stay put. I just used a pair of needle-nose pliers to grip & get them through the grommets, then adjusted as needed.I really like that there's plenty included - in our case almost 2x as many as we needed, although that will obviously vary by shoe. The color is perfect and he says they're as comfy as his old Nikes, which is a huge compliment from him.I do recommend being careful to check that the pieces you're putting in are the right widths. I had him put the shoes on several times during the process, to double check that I was making them tight enough to hold on, but loose enough to slip on & off. They weren't necessarily 5 right next to each other - I made sure they all fit exactly, instead of picking one that fit and then the 4 immediately after that. A little investment of time & caution can save a whole lot of aggravation later.Now I'm going to order some for my collection of Pumas!!!

I use these all the time on my Skecher shoes. Slip your feet right in, and off you go. No one notices that they're not real laces until you point it out. Then they're all questions about it. Simple enough... They work good. My only complaint is that over time, they do tend to break, but it lasts a good 6 months before they need to be replaced. I really like them so I just replace and keep on walking

Love the clean, minimalist look and effect. The black looks fantastic on my all-black sneakers.The diamond cross-hatch texture on the silicon laces is attractive, and not too aggressive.Although the matte, grippy texture will catch some lint and pet hairs over time if not cleaned frequently.Do not JUST opt for sequential sizes (e.g. 1-2-3-4-5) as you go up the foot arch!Every pair of feet vary greatly in foot arch height and slant.For example, my Adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA is laced with size 4-2-6-10 from bottom to top.My New Balance Fresh Foam X 860v12 is laced with size 5-3-8x7-9 from bottom to top.When you really tune in to how much downward tension you want at each position along the foot arch, and match it perfectly with these lace sizing, these laces are exceptional at providing tension and elasticity when and where you need it.These may not work for every pair of sneakers. Depending on how small and how rigid the ringlets you're working with, bare hand installation can be painful and frustrating. Read the instruction booklet and try the hairpin method, it worked pretty well for me personally with the more rigid ringlets and tight places, such as crisscrossing on the tongue of the shoe.Excellent product, great pricing, shipped quickly. Let's just see how it holds up to wear and tear.

One thing I have always strongly disliked is shoelaces hanging around my shoe. I've been a big user of elastic laces because I love the ease of putting my shoes on without needing to tie them, while still having them nice and snug for running, biking, and working out. I thought these looked not only cool, but possibly a bit more functional, since there are no lace ends to have to tuck and loop through anything.PROSThere are a ton of colors, and there are sizes for most shoe sizes.The silicone material is quite substantial, and feels like it can take a decent amount of punishment.If nothing is tight enough, you can always cross the laces to make things a bit tighter.CONSI have average sized feet for a man (size 9 1/2 - 10) and even with the laces crossed and using the smallest ones I can, they aren't all that snug. Great for skate shoes or casual shoes, but not really for running shoes.The ends keep the laces in place really well, but it can be really difficult to feed the ends through smaller eyelets, especially ones with plastic around them. It took some serious struggling to get the laces through the top three eyelets in my running shoes.Overall, I purchased these for my running shoes and was not thrilled with how loose they felt. I was also a bit disappointed with how difficult it was to lace these up. I would really only recommend these to people who need laces for casual/skate/lifestyle shoes and NOT for running shoes, or anything that needs to be tied snug.

Acheté pour mon fils. Super pratique, assez solide, rien à dire sur ça. Le fait qu'il y ait un large choix de couleurs c'est un gros point positif : le point positif à ne pas négliger également c'est que les chaussures en elles mêmes peuvent aller en machine avec les lacets sans problème : quand on sait que les chaussures d'enfants se salissent assez vite.
