I have this silly notion that when something advertises that it's a certain size that it actually BE that size. This is not.They are NOT 4" wide. The are 3.75" wide...if you stretch 'em a little. And they're definitely less than 3.75" at the mouth where the drawstring is...where you need to fit your food through the opening.I bought these because of their size. It was a waste of money.

The only thing going for this product is: maybe the bags...don't know for sure as I haven't tried them yet as I am afraid they will rip easy. The drawstrings are so thin you can't tie them together and some of the drawstrings won't pull to close at all.I would NOT recommend...

My wife uses these. They have made straining herbs very simple. She also uses them for aromatherapy sacks. They are easy to clean and store.

These work great when I cook Pho at home.

These bags definitely let all the flavor deep through. Can withstand high heat. Thin enough to let the flavor out but strong enough to keep the season in the bag. Perfect
