Normally I wouldn't review a book about Magick two days after first trying the Magick but this book as I have experienced it is a stunningly effective way to have a personal encounter with Lakshmi,not once but pretty much whenever you turn your mind to her.I am still at the stage where I think every success in magick is exciting ,and I have had alot of success with the Magick I've done but this was exceptional even in respect to those. Baal kadmon is very clearly all about helping people improve their lives with magic-He's got a website where he answers questions from his readers but also just helps people understand magick for themselves.His magick isn't for looking clever it's just about results,and you get them with the magick he teaches but this particular book will take your breath away and I say that having worked the magick for only two days.UPDATE:I've been using this magick for a couple of months now and have got some really impressive results;very promising business offers,a payrise,a well paid job in the UK for my son, a study trip to Vietnam for my daughter and a very noticable improvement in the general quality of my life.Once you have a solid contact to Lakshmi you don't need to chant,she has then become your ally and trusted friend,pretty amazing,like all Baal Kadmons books.

This book is small, but very consistent. The Mantras are not always easy to read, though there is always the most faithful translation in English of each one of the Mantras which, by the way, they are all pretty powerful ones. I truly appreciate the work of this author, Thank you!

1. This is about 50 pages, wide margins, some pages with few lines of type.2. It is not "magick;" it is prayer and invocation.3. There are typos throughout. There was apparently no proof reading, and, most disturbing, at least one of the mantras has a typo in it.4. There is no attempt whatsoever to let you know how to pronounce the mantras (which are not translated). It is suggested you go to the author's website to hear them - where you will find you are required to pay again to hear them. It looks like, for this booklet, you will pay another $11 plus.5. There is a suggestion that you might need to do 10,000 repititions of the mantra to "seat" it, and that you might want to do that in one day. The mantras do vary in length, but 108 repititions takes time. The one I am doing takes about 18 minutes, and I have learned to whisper the mantra so that I can do it on ingoing or outgoing breath, i.e., I don't have to pause for breath. At 15 minutes a round, 4 per hour, 10,000 would take more than 24 hours. PLUS which, if you really want to seat the mantra, it will take 125,000 repititions. Thomas Ashley-Ferrand tells the story of a man who did 125,000 repititions, got no results, did another 125,000, again without results, and did a third round - "and then the floodgates opened." (He adds that he would have recommended the addition of the seed-sound for Ganesh, "gum.") So 10,000 isn't likely to cut it, or a round a day for 40 days. You may well need more.HOWEVER I have been doing another Lakshmi mantra on a daily basis for quite a while, maybe a year or two, and am actually working on my third 125,000, and our economic situation has been slowly improving - but when I added one of these, on the third day I got a letter in the mail saying we had over $3,000 in an IRA from a job my husband left in 2013, and what would be like them to do about it? And that is why I gave this three stars.You will need a mala; Amazon has plenty of them. And I highly recommend any of Thomas Ashley-Ferrand's books, which really are worth the money. If it weren't for that entirely unexpected three grand, I'd be trashing this book.

I love it super understandable rituals and not hard at all . I love how they broke down the symbolism of lakshmi helps me understand that abundance is more than money !

This is a short and crisp book on 8 forms of Laxmi with Mantras and Rituals. It could have been more detailed and longer. Price is very high for such a little book

Not impressed. The book was cheaply made. It looks like it's been through photo copies or a scanner. I'm not impressed with the content either. Looks like grade student essay. Definitely not worth the price.

Very powerful thank you so much. Can feel a strong presence straight away when chanting the mantras. Really impressed with these easy to follow rituals.
