This is a fun idea but the red tubes are 3x longer than the screws that come with it. They do say the screws are 1.5" so I guess it's should've been more obvious, but what's the point in making the red tubes 2.5x longer than they need to be other than to maybe look more impressive against the other stuff in this marketplace?

so i was in the market for a way to extend my outlets and came across these...i knew nothing about doing this but am a handy guy...i can say that its so easy because you dont have to be exact with this...i cut the tube kinda where i thought would be good and it worked every time..it squishes when you tighten the screw so you dont have to be precise..i did an entire kitchen and dining room and have plenty left over...the included screws were awesome and made doing the job even easier...i probobally have enough left over to do a couple more rooms but if i ever need it id buy this brand again A++++

Buy these over the stackable kind. You can cut these to the perfect length (longer than needed in most cases) to cause just the right amount of compression, holding the fixture to its box and not the wall (or other) surface. For example, these provide extra protection against cracking/breaking when extending over a breakable surface (mirror, tile, glass, etc). Additionally, then don't take up nearly the space as the stackable kind. I just found it way more flexible (as far as fit is concerned) and super easy to install.

These are cool. I hate trying to install electrical outlets to the right depth almost as much as I hate trying to fix an outlet to bring it to the right depth.Yall know what I mean. We installed a backsplash and that affected the outlets. These made it much easier to get everything to sit right. It made a long tedious job shorter so that's a win.

These are great. Easy to install. They are rubber so you don’t have to measure perfect a little long is ok. Contractor that built my house did a horrible job cutting the outlet holes. I had cracked covers everywhere. These shore up the outlets and switches. They’ll save me money on outlet and switch covers in the long run.

I had significant gaps between the wall that I installed and the outlet plates. This kit helped me mount the plates flush against the wall. Easy to cut, and it is flexible, so even if you cut it a bit longer, you can "squeeze" it as you tighten the crews to get a perfectly snug fit! The screws that come with the kit are the right length.

helped resolve what has been an ongoing problem in my 1904 house. I’d been using bolts to shim the outlets out, but never seemed to get it quite right. These things installed in seconds, and now my outlets are flush with the wall.

I was hesitant to buy these but they worked great! Perfect for outlets that were just too deep inside the wall and even in shiplap.
