Worth the price
Soft, sturdy, looks fantastic. My only two nitpicking complaints is I wish the strap had a pad of some kind and it's a tiny bit smaller than I thought it was based on the dimensions. Overall great bag.

Good quality for the price
I was surprised by the quality of the leather. It is pretty well made, comfortable to wear and doesn't look like a "purse".I have two other sling bags, both nylon. But I cannot lie, both the nylon bags hold more stuff, including my ipad mini, a water bottle and other larger stuff including my phone. But this leather bag carries my wallet, keys, phone, ear plugs, toothpicks, pills, sweetener packets, sunglasses and a few other things. I simply have too much stuff that I have to carry that I can't go without some sort of bag or case, so this one does the basic job. If I need more of a small day pack I'll go with one of my other bags. My wife thinks the leather bag is less geeky.

Beautiful cross-body/sling bag
What do I like about this bag? Well, I really like leather, so this bag checks a huge box for me. While PU products start peeling, cracking, and generally falling apart leather develops character and a lovely patina. The bag is every bit as lovely in person as it appears online. The zippers seem to function well, and the stitching is very good. The pockets are lined. The cross-body strap is wide, and adjustable. I'm roughly 6' tall and I was able to find a length comfortable for me. The zipper pulls are also leather, which is a nice touch. It's lighter than one might assume for a bag made primarily of leather. I suspect this bag will outlast me! The pockets are easy to access, although the rear pocket might be a little more challenging to use while the bag is hangning on the wearer. I should be able to place and remove items on the go.Now for the (pretty minor) issues I have: I tried placing to passports in the rear pocket, which was a no-go. One fit, but the second would stop the pocket from closing. Since I carry both of our passports when we travel, that means looking for another pocket.I found that the outermost front pocket worked for both passports, while the pocket immediately behind that one accomodated my smartphone. Problem solved!I always carry a travel organizer, and I was hopeful that might fit in the side pouch, but it would not. However, I was able to get a tri-fold 8.5" x 11" document into that pouch without a problem, so hard printouts of boarding passes, cruise ship documents, hotel or rental car confirmations will go there. So why did I get this bag? We frequently cruise, and when we check-in at the pier we're required to present passports and copies of our cruise tickets/passes. While the passes can be presented using a smartphone and the cruise line's app, we've encountered situations where the app won't work (dead zones for Wi Fi, etc.) and we've suddenly found ourselves scrambling to prove that we're authorized to board the ship! For that reason I ALWAYS carry paper copies of all reservations, tickets, etc. The issue is that I then have passports and multiple copies of documents to carry. Since I usually use a backpack those have always gone into that backpack. The good news is that I have what I need "on my person" as we approach the cruise terminal. The bad news?? I have to then drop my backpack, open it, rummage around for the passports and documentation (which I usually keep in a travel organizer that I stuff into the backpack). Once I find those I remove the things I need, zip up that organizer, stuff it back into the backpack, and then hoist the backpack again. The problem is that we're not boarding the ship alone - there are thousands of other people trying to do the same, and it's sometimes like the running of the bulls - stop for 2 minutes to do the "backpack shuffle" and you may get trampled! So I was looking for a nice cross-body bag into which I can slip my smartphone, documents, passports, and maybe another item or 2 so that, when approaching the cruise terminal, everything is right in front of me, ready for virtually hands-free removal. I don't have to remove the bag, set it down, go fishing for what I need, return what I don't immediately need, and then hoist the bag again. Now I'll just open a zippered compartment, pull out exactly what I need (which will be stashed there for just that purpose) and zip closed that compartment, all the while still moving ahead of the throngs into the terminal. Then, once we've presented our passports for verification, I can just slip them back into their assigned pocket on the bag, and zip it closed again. The only time I will need to remove that bag is so it can be x-rayed at the security checkpoint. Now I realize this may sound like a trivial change to many, but believe me, after nearly 50 cruises this will be a big game changer for me. In the past I would step out of the flow of people, drop my backpack to the ground, and start fishing for what we needed. Meanwhile my wife, often not realizing that I had chosen that moment to fish out our passports, etc. keeps going. And if you've cruised in recent years, despite the check-in process being more efficient now than it was 20 years ago, you know that there aren't many convenient places between the luggage drop-off and the terminal to simply stop. I've sometimes found myself inadvertantly blocking the porters as they try to move luggage carts toward the ship.I still have a day-pack, which I pack and use regularly (it's a theft resistant pack that I like quite a lot), but this one will solve a problem, albeit a minor one, and will make embarkation day a little less stressful for me. But now that I have this I can think of a number of other times when it will come in handy. We live in a small coastal area where scooters (no...not that kind of scooter but the 49 cc 2-wheel variety) are common. With this I could carry my smartphone, wallet, etc. on my body while I ride. Although it hasn't happened I often worry that my wallet, phone, or something else is going to work its way out of my pocket somewhere in my travels. When that happens in a car I just fish it out from under the seat at my next stop. If it were to happen while riding a scooter I'd have to retrace my trip to try to figure out where it jumped out of my pocket. So this may become my everyday go to bag.

About 30 percent smaller than I thought it was.
The bag appears to be made well for the price I guess but, it is a bit smaller than I thought.
